The ball literally rolls through the pins like they are not even there, like they are just projected holograms. Zero deflection and almost totally silent.
Since those pins score about the same as regular pins, the USBC should sanction their use. How they fly around is irrelevant. The only thing that matters is how they score. Just like string pins. Next, try flower pots.
Hey, Nick! I brought up this idea in one of your previous videos, but I wanted to put this idea in your head again with a little more elaboration. I had asked if you could showcase the difference between Brunswick’s Crown Factory Compound and Crown Factory Polish, but to elaborate, use two of the same ball with the same drilling, but have one ball with its out-of-box finish with the compound and another topped with the polish instead of the compound. I have a general idea of how each ball would react, but I’d like to see it in action. Also, explain to us (the viewers) what the compound does and why Brunswick has opted to use it instead of the polish. I hope I wasn’t too incoherent in sharing my idea, but I just wanted to give you an idea for a future video.
Bro the company's that make toy bowling, they need to add some weight in their bowling balls like some weight where pins don't get damaged but still good or ok pin action
I was given that exact set of plastic ball and pins a couple christmas's ago lol. This was definitely interesting watching how these pins reaction. I agree though that i'm surprised that actually held up for a whole game. Great fun video!
I replaced the plastic ball with a soccer ball and dodgeball (partially deflating them helped with gripping them with my palm) in my main hallway where I could make a 10 meter lane and the main entrance as the pit. It also had the tiling form a triangle to help set up the pins (not equilateral which meant that sometimes I could get a strike by hitting the nose). One time I picked up the 7-10 split and one of the pins bounced all the way back to the foul line.
Kind of makes me wish i was a kid about 9/10 again. and if i had those plastic pins down there, i might even do something i seen as a kid at that age with a real ball.
@@brunsnickid love to see you bowl on old school AMF AMFLITE 2 PINS and old school brunswick pins and bowing with a old school red hammer or blue or black or burgundy hammer.
I've always wanted to do this. The sound of the toy pins had me dying of laughter when i first heard it. Also, a competition between you and 220 average bowler on these pins would ve absolutely perfect content wise.
An idea, if possible, take two cores (sym and asym) and do a clear resin pour around them to showcase what the core does upon release and once it hits that last phase going into the pins.
I've seen leagues that use "heavy" pins that are a few ounces heavier each. Doesn't sound like a lot, but accounting for all pins, +30oz changes things. This would be an interesting other extreme. Excessively light pins, maybe skinnier than usual too.
Hey Brunsnick! You were so helpful before that I now have a NU Blue on back-order - wooo hooo Wondering if you’d offer one more ball opinion… When my NU Blue arrives, I’ll have that and my Rubicon UC2 that I love! I throw one-handed, no-thumb (ala Tom Daugherty), and am about 14-15mph at the pins with a 195 average. I struggle on oily lanes. The UC2 burns out and struggles to make the corner. I’m looking for something stronger and considering the Black Widow 2.0 Hybrid, but am concerned that with my softer ball speed it will be too hard to control. What are your thoughts? Thank you, and have a great weekend!
I’d pretty much be guessing and I’m not very familiar with competitor products, but you really can’t go wrong with a Black Widow 2.0 Hybrid. Another option that would be a very small step down would be Hazmat. It’s also symmetrical so might be easier to control 👍🏻
1:05 : I suppose the red marks aren't just here to make the pins look authentic. If they weren't here, the machine that calculate score would not operate properly am I right?
🙋♂ if you've wanted to do (and did it as a kid) 40+ years ago? Do you know how much damage a 12lb White Dot can inflict on wood trim? I have the ass whooping to prove it.
I could hear your exhaustion from running back and fourth resetting the pins lol, and this just let's us know the 10 pin will ALWAYS find a way 😂
You got that right. I should have hired more agile and flexible help.
Now put em on strings.. It'll simulate the new pinsetters PERFECTLY
No, just no
I've wanted to do this since I was a kid in the '70s! Thanks for at least letting me experience it vicariously!!!!
Life long dream come true!
@@brunsnicknext use a duckpin ball and try to hook the lane and hit only the seven pin on the left side.

This is what being 2 handed feels like
Hahaha 😂😂😂 in a 2 hander my self
I also wanted to see how the machine would handle the pins…
Video liked for the sheer fact that half way through the video I realized you had to go down and manually rack those pins every frame. 😂😂
Yeah. It kind of sucked 😆
I used to have a ripped soccer ball that made a nice groove for my thumb and I threw it into plastic pins 😆... good times! High scores!
Hahaha nice
In before USBC gets ideas… 💡
We already have synthetic pins
It's so funny how fast the ball goes through the pins.
Wanted to break those things!

My game of choice growing up was Skittle Bowl. The pins weren't on strings but the ball was!!

Ok how bout this ? Reverse? Toy bowling ball. Vs REAL pins lmao 😂
LOL
You gots to bruh
Thats what i call continuous.
Right!!! Zero deflection

Made you look like Osku out there!
The pins just explode when you hit the pocket 😂😂😂
I used to fill my plastic bowling ball with water to do what you are doing...was so much fun.
I cut a slit in mine and packed it full of paper.

The hardest worker at Brunswick!!! This was great!
So glad to see you still making videos after all these years.
Cool Spare!!!
It's pretty funny sound and pin actions interesting. at 5:38 that sounds like an actual dead wood pin sound 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
What TH-cam was invented for...bravo 👏
That pin action reminded me of Monkey Bowling from Super Monkey Ball on the GameCube 😂 mega bouncy
Please do this again alot more this is so much fun to watch 😅

There's one thing I used to do back at home when I was younger: Play bowling with soda cans. :)
The pinspotter not knowing what to do with the pins 😅
Very entertaining vid. Nice
For safety I just kept the machine off. 🤣 if they were a little smaller it’s possible it works in it.
@@brunsnickyes def keep the pinsetter off because it will kill it💀💀💀
really want to see what someone like Kevin McCune would do to these pins.
Those are high quality plastic pins! You'd think the balls would dent and destroy them!
I miss my plastic pin set made from Empire when i was a kid lol
Next best thing to bowling with twister pins
The pinsetter might not like them
This is the best video EVER
Thanks! 🤣
I bet a lot of people would want to see a video on string pin. Lol
4:33 Dishonor! Dishonor on you! Dishonor on your cow!
You got robbed with that solid 3-6 pocket shot

You too!
Looks like twister pins 😂😂😂
Way better than those lol

Not really possible.

When you commit to a project, you COMMIT!!!🤣🤣🤣....P.S. maybe a couple of days in the gym if you're going to commit this much🤣🤣🤣well done again
This was the most physical video yet. I need to hire help 🤣🤣
If I ever visit Michigan, I'll leave my resumé at brunswick 🤣🤣🤣don't sic the dogs on me🤣🤣🤣
Awesome video.
You have to play a game with half scale bowling pins & ball on this lane xD

Did a video with the PBA Gold Pins, those were all at the top of the limit.
You should release the ball like you are going to shake hands with the pin boy😮
Seems about as realistic as those string pins
New challenge idea: standard bowling ball vs giant, inflatable pins.
I think it would be fun to see you and a pro use 6 pound house balls on those pins.
Bro breathing heavily
Fishing pins out of the pit and hand setting them each frame was a bit of work for a dude with asthma lol

Need to do tournament with toy pins
Where’s the Spectodata?
This comment should be pinned 😂
Brunswick MinLife pins? Still 100% plastic.
That’s clever. 😁
to avoid broken those pins. i used a basketball of soccer ball instead.
So I’m guessing pinsetters don’t work on toys. Just saying if you had to set em up every time! 😮
I kinda wish those pins were the exact size of normal ones so that you could have just let the machine set them back up
My back wishes too
Could you do a obsession tour pearl and envy tour pearl comparison video
Nah sorry
I don't think with the pins dimensions that you could leave a wrap 10 lol
1:05 : I suppose the red marks aren't just here to make the pins look authentic. If they weren't here, the machine that calculate score would not operate properly am I right?
No. Newer machines don’t need cameras for pin fall
Sorry took the likes from 300 to 301. Must have some handicap.
How heavy is the ball?
15lb
They do make toy pins that are the same size of real pins. I want to see what the machine will do with the toy pins. That could be interesting.
Doubt the pin will drop into the rack being so light.
Fing hilarious
😂😂 thanks!

Can he set pins for me? 😁 jk
I that’s really cool but it’s always hitting the pins just like and I have to think hum why are we bowling with the plastic pins instead real pins
🤔 if youve got 10, candle and duck pins then mix all 3 combos of balls you could do 9 frames and not duplicate. 10th frame toy ball vs toy pins?

MUY DIVERTIDO
cause its made of plastic then it does bounce alot
Can't even throw a 300 with "toy" pins... Trash
Welcome you to try.
