Just to say that I've been with my wife almost all my life and that's not an exaggeration, we've known each other since childhood and started dating quite young, we were both children having a child but I remained true to the idea of being with her as a couple, our first daughter came when we were young but I worked hard to support them, she went back to school and I worked to support them both that was over 40 hrs ago, were now both retired and enjoying our lives as a couple we've had rough days but we also had good days what couple doesn't and I still love her the same way I did all those years ago iam now 57 struggling with an illness that could take me anytime and my biggest fear is leaving her behind because I know it would break her.
I feel for you Douglas. I hope each day is a joy for you, your wife and daughter. When my Mom passed before my Dad we didn't know how he would be able to live on. She ran the household and raised 5 kids while he worked. He missed her terribly every day but he lived the rest of his life in a way that made all of us so proud. I'm sure my Mom was proud of him and I really think she was there when his time came. It's noble that your biggest concern is the impact on her. I hope you won't let this worry you too much. It may be that there are things about life that she is meant to learn while missing you. She'll make you proud.

And that we must all realize we're a sinner and turn to Jesus and trust and believe that He died for your sins was buried and rose again the third day but trust in Him alone to save you from your sins and hell. Our sins separate us from God and God can't allow any sin in heaven and we sin so Jesus had too die for our sins so we would have a way to heaven. He took the punishment of our sins upon Himself.
