Using scientific calculter we get eigen values , for example if 1,2,3 are eigen values of matrix A then , 1,1/2,1/3 are eigen values of Inverse of matrix only in this case characteristic polinomial is different
Suppose 2,3,3 are eigen values of given matrix , then calculator will shows 2,3 only, repeated eigen value it don't show, To know 3rd eigen value do the trace of matrix and sum of eigen value based you can get missed eigen value😀
Good question , for every square matrix, we get eigen values, but that matrix is not like usual matrix, if it is blocks wise we can do easily, but on Leslie matrix I didn't make a video if possible I will do, thank you for your comment
@Divya Singh For eigen vectors we cont use directly because |A-lambdai| =0 i.e. det is zero, (but while simplifying we can use for Row operation ) and after getting the vector , you can verify that is correct or wrong easily

If you are getting one equation with 3 unknown, then take X1=K1, X2=K2, then X3 will be depending on two independent variables(X1,X2) (n-r=3-1=2) linearly independent solutions exist, where n is order of matrix(A-lambda i) and r is rank of (A-lambda i)

No no noo nooooo way, but after getting eigen vectors you can cross check,whether it's correct or wrong by checking (AX=∆X) where eigen value ∆
