    I have had the 180 for 3 years and it has been great. B&H carries these hand has great sales on them 2 or 3 times a year. By the way, my mom was a Deal. Maybe we are distant cousins.

      Small world. Deals unite! Need to pay more attention to these sales.

    I have been really enjoying my 50 L dry cabinet that I received for Christmas last year. It was supposed to be a 90 L but that one showed up with the glass door smashed and they said they were out of stock so I just got the 50 L. I filled that thing up to the max. The only bad thing was it did not fit my Sony 200-600 lens in it laying down or sideways on the shelf. Yes I could take all the shelves out and stand it straight up it would fit, but that would defeat the purpose of the shelves. So this year they had a sale on 125 L dry cabinet for $255 and it just showed up today and I am really shocked on how big it is. Now granted my 50 L fit about 75% of all my cameras and lenses but I want to store my strobe light also. And since I’m getting into doing video, I can now store microphones and my ninja v monitor, and everything thing else. Over this last year I have noticed that none of my batteries have any corrosion on the contacts. And on those real hot humid days you can put your cameras back in the dry cabinet and feel good about getting all that moisture out of it, so no mold, or fungus starts in your lenses or cameras. It is in my opinion the best thing for your cameras and equipment. You spend so much money on everything why not spend some money on good storage.
    I remember when I first started out, I would leave my camera bad with everything in it in the back of my car all winter and knowing what I know now it is very smart to take everything out after every session and store properly. Great video I can’t wait to fill up my 125 L.

    Nice review, thank you. Is there a reason you keep lens hoods in humidity controlled environment?

    • @KevinDeal
      @KevinDeal  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks. The lens hoods are only in there for storage. Not for the dehumidifier. It’s just a nice organized place to keep them.

    Thanks for this review. Can you please tell me if hte shelves will just pull right out or are there limiters that stop them accidently being pulled all the way out ?

    • @KevinDeal
      @KevinDeal  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      They can pop out of you yank them all the way. However, you have to pull it slightly upward to do so. You have to try.

    Hi There, could I fit an Old 300mm 2.8 in the 120 cabinet? Thanks

    • @KevinDeal
      @KevinDeal  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I've never tried it, but because you can put the shelves as high or low as you want, I don't see why it would be an issue. Height and width appear to be fine, so it really comes down to depth. It appears it will fit without having to make any drastic alterations (it looks to be an inch deeper than the lens based on specs). But even if it's a tad too long, you could put it in at an angle and buy yourself a couple inches of depth. .

    Excellent video. I'm from Brazil and i bought mine recently. I have noticed that the humidity marked by the dry box is quite different than that of my portable hygrometer, can you tell me why? Sometimes I wonder which one is right and that makes me insecure. Your video has brought me a lot of clarification. Thank you very much.

      Glad I could help. I’ve never compared it to another device so I certainly hope it’s accurate. Thanks for watching!

      @@KevinDeal Have you used it how long, you have had no problem drying the erasers and components? My region is very humid and inside the cabinet the portable hygrometer marks 23% while on the cabinet panel is 50%. I appreciate the attention.
