When I was a Kid and I saw the previews to the first Harry Potter movie in the scene where Malfoy threw Neville’s rememberal I asked our Aunt/Lindsey’s Step-Aunt Holly “Why’d he throw that stone?” and she said “I’m not telling you you’ll have to watch it to see for yourself.” plus every time when my Husband and I went to see a movie he asked me “What movie is this rated?” and I said “No spoilers carino.” Ever since then I’ve been taking after our Aunt/Lindsey’s Step-Aunt Holly by not giving out hints or spoilers on other things.
