He should’ve confessed last year faced his punishment he wouldn’t gotten himself sick and now look what happened but at least he was honest for once in his life it’s sad that it came to this.
I knew it was about control. He only started to do it when she pulled away and tried to make a life for herself. It always happened when she was about to leave or succeeded in any aspect of life. It doesn’t excuse it at all, but I can see how it makes Frankie feel better to know why.
These soaps have really been butchering their abuse storylines as of late - Coronation Street just killed off the abuser in one of their storylines, Emmerdale has been taking some unexpected and unwanted twists with their one and now this, we want these characters to face justice, not killed off and forgotten about.

Why is everyone upset because their is No Justice. My son was openly abused by my neighbour. My son has autism and has not been educated because my neighbour controls the false narrative they created. The Avon and Somerset Police force tried to legalise violence against my son based on my neighbour and my ex counteracting the DV Laws. They became the victims ask the Avon and Somerset Police force why my son is currently in ICU. Intensive care Unit is it because my neighbours son that abused him made false allegations against my son to protect their family tradition of abusing children from dV homes😢😢😢😢
I’m glad with how this storyline played out. I know most viewers don’t. As a twin I feel there’s nothing stronger than the bond we share. Even though Frankie was abused by JJ he’s still her brother and she will hate him for what he did. But she knows that a part of her loves him. Great story great ending two incredible young actors

Daaannng. An appropriate ending IMO. But honestly, I was expecting JJ to tell Frankie that one of Suzanne's many boyfriends molested him when she was blackout drunk, and that it started after that. JJ did something unforgivable, but I will always see Suzanne as the ultimate villain here.
My first reaction was to think what a shame he died - he should have survived so he would have to go to court and then to prison so Frankie could get real justice. But then, I know that court cases can be very painful and traumatic for the victim as well - they have to live through and talk about what happened to them. Now she has been spared that awful experience, and she did tell him she would donate her bone marrow. So maybe this was a good outcome after all. I do feel sorry for Darren though. What a terrible thing to have to choose between your children which one to support, and he would probably also be feeling guilty for all the years that he wasn't there. He is going to take a while to get over that - if ever!
Frankie finally got her justice and closure but man do I feel for Darren. He had to pick a side and watch a child die. I don’t think he’ll ever heal from that.

No he doesn't. He raped his sister over and over. He is a bad person who may be able to change but it went too far. Any potential he had he ruined. Needs to stay dead. This happened to my great niece and it destroyed her because she wasn't strong enough to come out of it; he did that to her.
So it was just conformed that JJ is still alive and that Frankie agreed to give him her bone marrow and Darren has stated he would want to have a relationship with JJ if he serves his time and comes out a changed man. Frankie apparently has always liked Lucas more than a friend no surprise there but I think she's going to sleep with him. So what's the changes of Lucas being confused again.

This is a great storyline, especially the ending. Even though a lot of the audience didn’t get it, this is trying to show us something important about abuse in families and our idea of justice. The courts in the majority of cases don’t give victims justice. What he finally did here is say the words victims need to hear and society needs to accept. Men that do things like this are bad people. Bad people who may be capable of love, sadness, fear, but who are still bad men and dangerous to everyone around them. We think a jail sentence is justice. It almost never happens and even if it does, the abuser rarely ever truly understands what he’s done.
Your job, as a Christian, is not to “try” to be anything. You can’t accomplish goodness in your own strength. No one can. The only thing you can do is rely on Jesus Christ and submit to the Holy Spirit who will gradually transform you to be more and more like Christ. He is our template for how to live in this life. Poor Frankie now that he’s dead (which I somehow doubt) she might not get justice this wasn’t the way to do it and I bet a lot of you who have been wanting him dead are all glad and happy about it but I don’t think he really is dead but for those of who are probably glad he is then you can rot with him cause this isn’t the way for her to get justice. Well, that’s the end of that storyline, I guess. I would have preferred for JJ to face legal consequences for his crimes but he’ll be facing a far worse judgement now and that’s for sure. He knew what he was doing most of the time. I also don’t like that that mother - and I use the term loosely - got quit of her consequences by dying. I know she didn’t mean to die but I mean I hate the decision to kill her off. I just hope that recording has something on it and it isn’t blank. When people are very sick and in a lot of pain, they sometimes don’t work machinery properly.
Once again hollyoaks taking a serious story and copping out as usual for shock value If they were going to have JJ show remorse and accept what he's done they should have had him go to trial, plead guilty and then go to prison Hollyoaks once again screwing something up

I also don’t like that that mother - and I use the term loosely - got quit of her consequences by dying. I know she didn’t mean to die but I mean I hate the decision to kill her off.
