Thank you for this video! Your travel commentation is concise and really aligns with frequent travelers' perspectives. The details you discuss address very practical matters rather than simply describing the luxury aspects of travel. Your discussion about the luggage check in booth and why some people look forward to arrival lounges clearly shows that you are a thinking traveler with experience. And it's very refreshing that you don't simply indulge in braggadocios or come across as an entitled high brow nit-pick. Instead, you really tell visitors what to expect with useful tidbits of information without over-the-top expressions or stage acting. You let the traveler experience for themselves once they are there, and offer very practical, unpretentious guidance. Much appreciated!
Thank you so much for your thoughtful and encouraging comment! Your kind words mean a lot to me and serve as great encouragement to continue creating content that resonates with fellow travellers. Thanks again for your support, and happy travels!
Thanks for this. It's also worth noting that if you're connecting at Heathrow, it's often better to use this lounge (it's landside so you need need to go through immigration and customs). This is because there are loads of showers - many more than the airside lounges - so you'll always get one. The lounge is also quieter. Afterwards, go back through security to catch your connection. But you missed the most exclusive part of the lounge - the cabanas. These are rooms with infinity baths.. After a short transatlantic hop, these are a great way to relax. They generally hold them for first class passengers, but I have occasionally got lucky and been allocated one for being OneWorld Emerald. You do have to ask, though!
@@KenTravels360 yeah - they're a bit of a secret - you have to ask specifically for them at the shower reception. They are off to the lett of the reception, whereas the showers are to the right. Next time you're there, see if they have one free - they are really the star attraction of the lounge.
Thanks. I am not aware of a specific area for napping. There are lots of comfortable seating around and I am sure many people have dozed off there for a bit!
Hi , please come again, the lounge has been refurbished now, only the showers need to be updated also you forgot to make a video of bath tub. Ask Harpreet when you see him in the lounge.
Thanks Harpreet for your feedback. I will check that out next time! Unfortunately my next 2 long haul flights land after the arrival lounge will be closed. But I’ll give you a shout when I next have the opportunity.

Thanks, I have not seen the cabanas, despite having been there a few times!

Great video! Thank you!
Glad you liked it!
Thanks for sharing!! Surprisingly I didn’t see it last time while flying from Germany to LHR T5. Hope it’s not only for long haul…
It's only for long haul arrivals, unfortunately.
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks!
Great useful video as always for your channel!
Thanks for watching and commenting! Glad you found it useful.
Hi, great video. Do you know if there is anywhere to take a nap for a couple of hours? As would love to take one before a very long drive home.
Thanks. I am not aware of a specific area for napping. There are lots of comfortable seating around and I am sure many people have dozed off there for a bit!
I'm flying first class on American and my mother is flying Business class, Do you know if we will both be able to get into this lounge? Thanks!
Yes, you can both get in, as they admit both Business Class as well as First Class passengers arriving on a long haul flight. Thanks for watching!
@@KenTravels360 thank you! I subscribed!!
Thank you 🙏.
Thanks for sharing, may i ask where is it exactly? After the immigration and luggage areas?
Correct once you pass through the customs and exit, there is a lift to get there.
@@KenTravels360 thank you for the info 😀

Are the showers available again Ken? In your November 2022 video I think you said they had been closed.
It was available as of this video 👍
