Micro Biogas Plant with Fuel Cell

The RENERGON RSD® XS is our compact and ultra-modern biogas plant for solid matter fermentation, which has been specially developed for smaller farms. It combines maximum energy efficiency with minimum space requirements and offers a forward-looking solution for sustainable energy generation.
Efficient 2-digester system
The heart of the RSD® XS is an innovative 2-digester system that enables efficient fermentation of solid manure (main substrate cattle manure, can be supplemented with chicken manure, horse manure and other organic waste & residues). With an annual feedstock volume of 2,800 to 3,500 tons, the plant offers an ideal solution for companies that want to generate green energy from organic waste.
Compact design
The RSD® XS impresses with its space-saving design. The two digester boxes, each measuring 15 x 5.5 x 4.5 meters, are equipped with an integrated gas storage roof and a technical and percolate cellar. The total space requirement is between 750 and 1,000 m² including forecourt and storage area, which makes the system attractive even for smaller operations with limited space.
Maximum efficiency
The biogas produced is utilized in an ultra-modern solid oxide fuel cell, which impresses with its high electrical efficiency of up to 80 %. With an average output of 100 kWel, the fuel cell supplies both electricity and the required process heat. This innovative system ensures maximum energy yield and makes the RSD® XS a future-proof, sustainable energy generation and utilization plant.
