Wow wow shaving this morning cut myself when Dalo said going behind the paywall from Monday. Unfortunately can't afford 80 quid for a podcast. championship won't be the same without ye lads. Tks for the hours of enjoyable podcast's ye were brilliant. All the best!!!
i watch this show every week its on, but i won't be signing up either, very close to start of champioship to be springing this on all the viewers of the show

Extremely disappointing to hear about the paywall decision, and a crazy €80 subscription figure. I only use the Irish Examiner for this hurling podcast, so €80 just to listen to the podcast for a few months of the year is insane. I have no interest in the Football pod or Cork newspaper articles. I have been a loyal follower of this show for years, it seems this will be the last Dalo's Hurling Show podcast I will be watching / listening to.
There are alternative hurling podcasts available that are as good and remain free to subscribers.
It’s €10 for 10 weeks. Would cover the length of the championship basically

@@eneville29 still €80 to listen to it is not really accurate. You can subscribe €10 for 10 weeks and then €10 for one additional month. Works out at €1.25 a week and they will have multiple podcasts on certain weeks.
This is the far the best hurling Pod skehill Murphy o Callaghan wouldn't lace the boys boots. If they were any good they'd go paywall too like the golf Pod did on OTB. Everyone going paywall now off with them I'll not be joining.
Just want to say this to you Dalo who I like and loved watching as a player and commentator, you should not have agreed to this , the examiner makes money from adverts on this pod ,
Great to see I'm not alone in my views on paying the examiner, what a rag, wouldn't give then the steam off my piss. Its a pity because Dalo and Co were brilliant but as people have said they're are alternatives
Watched this last year and enjoyed the craic. Not invested enough to pay for it though unfortunately. Surely could've looked at more sponsorship and adverts first

Good show lads, as always. As Marko said about a certain referee retiring early season was a surprise, so is the decision to go pay for view this late. Also lads talk a bit more about lower cup competitions. Eg. 5 pts separated 3 games in the Christy Ring last weekend.
Listening to this all the time over here in Australia. Don’t get no analysis with gaago and now the examiner are looking for money for this.
It sounds a great deal for 80 euro but I’ve no interest in the football pod, the cork championship. This is all I listen to. It’s a shame but doesn’t surprise me. I honestly don’t think all the viewers will jump to pay the money.
