I'm the Christ and have been tearing Dawkins to shreds on the internet (eleven years) and the other day for the first time I saw him being interviewed and he was actually charming. I'm still going to destroy him in hell.
This is a really good interview! The host is excellent. Courteous, well informed. She asks great questions and of course Richard Dawkins (as always) provides lucid answers. Very good.
She's just beautiful, the questions asked are elementary, i also have some deep questions far more deep than what she asked. But Richard just keeps smiling because of her beauty😅
Compared to Bill O’Riely’s interview, this was such an intelligent conversation. Mutual respect towards one another. She was calm, respectful and had such great questions. We need more interviews like this

Greg I would argue that any religious perspective should be negated. The only thing a religious perspective does is pit people against each other. "My God is better then your God." "I'm going to Heaven, your going to Hell." What we need is more compassion and understanding. We need to realize that there are different opinions and views. Just because they don't mesh with our specific look doesn't mean there wrong.

I most strongly agree. My rather simple understanding is the human need for continuity, of their genes, society, and way of life. And they find this in the ceremony and trappings of religion. The fear of the temporary nature of life and its' trappings is enormous.
Alot of people have just religion! But, the difference about a Christian is that person lives and practices the life every day. There is a big difference between a Christian and a person that's religious. I'm a Christian who faithfully lives for Jesus every day! I became a new creature when Jesus touched my life!

This is the kind of interview that I could watch for hours -- not just because Richard Dawkins is amazing, but because, for once, the interviewer actually seems extremely intelligent, is gracious, and is not trying to back Dawkins into a corner, or get him to say something controversial. Seriously, kudos to Bianca Nobilo for such a great interview, and for such great questions. It's a shame it couldn't have been a bit longer!

My son in his late 20's told me that I was the best kind of mother because I taught him HOW to think, not WHAT to think. No, I am not an atheist and neither are my children but I did not push my religious beliefs or political beliefs into their heads. I do not believe in religion when I was younger and think it was purely hocus pocus. I was forced to attend religious classes, go weekly prayers and rote learning the holy book without understanding. Ironically now in my 40s, I began to believe in religion and it is purely experiential and not coercion. This spiritual aspect from religion makes me a better person to brace challenges ahead. I think religion makes me understand there are alot of shades of grey in life unlike atheist who looks at the world in either black or white as in facts and evidence. So that is why I still keep the Faith while still respecting Science.

And to the first person who responded, I have 5 children total, 2 natural born and 3 step children and ALL of them despise Donald Trump. Probably because they were taught the difference between what ways are acceptable to act and what ways are not. They don't believe that it is ok to continually act like an ass. I was applauding this gentleman's statement that we should teach our children how to think for themselves and not push our beliefs about religion, politics, etc down their throats. My parents didn't do that to me and they were staunch Catholics who usually votes Republican. We were given the right to have free will...And I have done the same for my family.

I do not believe in religion when I was younger and think it was purely hocus pocus. I was forced to attend religious classes, go weekly prayers and rote learning the holy book without understanding. Ironically now in my 40s, I began to believe in religion and it is purely experiential and not coercion. This spiritual aspect from religion makes me a better person to brace challenges ahead. I think religion makes me understand there are alot of shades of grey in life unlike atheist who looks at the world in either black or white as in facts and evidence. So that is why I still keep the Faith while still respecting Science.
