@@matthewvanhout875 Thunderblight is the toughest as he can move as fast as lightning, deal unfair amounts of damage, and has a shield. Waterblight is super easy if you know how to fight it the key is to get to where he will teleport next in faze one and in faze two you need to use stasis on the last ice block and hit it to his face. Fireblight is a joke, I did the entire Vah Rudania divine beast in thirty minutes, fifteen for the terminals and fifteen for the fight which is straight forward so I won't talk about that one. (hint: use bombs when shielded) Windblight is fairly easy as long as you have arrows to shoot him in the eye so he falls out of the sky (works on all of them but not recommended for thunder unless you are a pro) So I will let you decide which one to do first.
There a reason why name what they make what they are named Turret - Stay in place but powerful Stalker - Chase and powerful Watcher - Watch you above and fire Scout - Small but nibble Each has it’s a disadvantage but advantages
Decayed - Immobile and fairly weak Sentry - fly and seek, but can't attack directly Malice - Just a stronger stalker Electric - Zap zap Fire - Burn Ice - Freeze
What I find really dangerous about the Skywatcher is that its head moves up and down while it flies around, making it hard to hit in the eye. I hate those guys.
I think it is probably the skyward sword ones would have the edge here and they have the sheer terror factor though I'm not sure that really applies when it comes to other guardians
Guardians are a pushover once you learn how to shield deflect (but if you have no knowledge of them, they're pretty tough) I used to run away early in-game because I had no way of attacking or protecting, but recently, I started actively searching for them just to get their parts (still a pretty good challenge)
When I think of Guardians, I think of the ones Ganon has taken over. The Stalker comes to mind first, but the Skywatcher is absolutely the most threatening. Unless you get very lucky with a parry or ancient arrow, you need to hit it a lot more. And this is problematic because they still deal heavy damage! I suppose you could shoot its propellers to make it more of a Guardian Turret, but I never think to try that.
If I had to choose, I'd choose the Skywatcher; their flight, speed, mobility, and attack strength are impressive, and only ranged weapons really work on them. I have found them difficult to hit, and even more so to reflect their lasers; the ways they move, and the angles involved, tend to make me miss. Fortunately, their sight field is much less than their land-based counterparts.
Since the scout has double health and the spin attack that is really quick and can take out stalker legs, I think the level 4 scout takes it for ground guardians
there are actually 15 types: Terrako, Harbinger, decayed, stalker, skywatcher, turret, scout I, scout II, scout III, scout IV, fire, ice, electric, battle tested, and malice. Plus, there is a guardian-type enemy that isn't technically a guardian, but it's the sentry.
Another advantage the flying guardian has over the groundbased is that, even if the groundbased guardian dodges a shot, it‘ll probably still get hit by the explosion. Firing towards the ground will always result in hitting "something" and hitting "something" will always cause an explosion, while firing towards the sky and missing results in… nothing.
You may think that the basic guardian stalker and the guardian skywatcher are the strongest but what about the guardians seen in age of calamity? There's a fire, ice, electric and malice guardians that give the regular guardian stalker a run for it's money plus there is possibly the strongest guardian of all there. A guardian so strong not even calamity Ganon can corrupt it. The battle tested guardian.
Well actually the battle tested guardian from hyrule warriors age of calamity can also fly and it has much more advanced attacks than regular guardian stalkers. so I think it would clearly win over the guardian skywatcher in my eyes.
Fun Fact: Ancient Weapons one shot guardian legs! My most effective strategy is to hack off the legs with an ancient weapon, then go ham with the Master Sword.
Now it is worth noting that the Elemental Guardians, the Malice Guardian, the Battle-Tested Guardian and Terrako are not counted among these. This is probably because not only are most of these just variations of the standard Guardian Stalker, but they are all (unfortunately) considered non-canon to the series.
Honestly, if the guardian scout were to use its little bursts of lasers to hit the guardian stalker in the eye, then there could be a chance for him to cut of its legs and take him out.
I say the Guardian Scout is stronger in terms of Link fighting them. Because their eye is actually smaller than a normal Guardian. And we all know that one single ancient arrow to the eye is all it takes to knock a Guardian down.
I should note that Skywatchers, while very mobile, can be crippled badly by destroying their propellors. Like with the explosion from a Guardian's beam. One bad hit to the propellors, and it'd be down for the count, while Stalkers can take several lasers to the body without stopping. Sure, there's the issue of it losing its legs, but it's also more than capable of carrying on without one or two, while a Skywatcher's mobility is pretty hampered by losing a propeller. Even if a Stalker was completely devoid of its legs, it can still aim at just about anywhere. If a Skywatcher crashed, it'd likely fall on its side, exposing a massive blind spot where it couldn't attack and leaving it a sitting duck. Finally, Skywatchers have extreme tunnel vision, compared to Stalkers which can and will spot anything in direct line of sight, Skywatchers only have a small cone of vision they focus on, so it's likely the Stalker would engage first and get the first shot off in a realistic fight while the Skywatcher would only notice the Stalker if it either skittered underneath it and into its searchlight, or more likely just shot it in the side. I'm not saying Stalkers would absolutely trump Skywatchers in every fight, there's still the hurdle of HITTING the floaty little shit while a Stalker would absolutely still take the splash damage from a near miss, but it's a more even fight than one would initially think. Or we can just say Battle-Tested Guardian from AoC would stamp the both of them into the curb, dear god that thing is actually scary.
One thing you didn’t consider is that the guardian scouts usually have shields, which they could(if they are smart enough) use to deflect the laser beam electively killing the stacker.
i can agree that skywatchers the strongest. if you destroy there propellers and let them live, i kid you not they can lift their body a bit using only their eye and moving head. they have really great eye strength. jokes aside, i think skywatchers are best because they have full vision of there surroundings except for what's directly above them. skywatchers are pretty hard to parry because they attack from a natural blind spot. also when they are hit, they tend to spin out of control a bit which means it's not likely you'll be able to hit it in a good spot. not to mention that even breaking one propeller can make the skywatchers stability a bit off, so if they come to a dead stop they could swing forward a bit, while we could use that to our advantage, skywatchers were meant for the air. so they must be very good in flight.
I'm sure there was a reason why you've left out the other types of guardians shown in Age of Calamity...but, It should be known that the best of all guardians is the playable guardian, the Battle-Tested Guardian. An ancient Guardian specially made for combat rather than simply strafing and shooting. It swings is claws, making it clearly impossible to cut them. It can use runes, which is a major benefit in utility. It can even use a different type of lock-on system where it can lock on AND shoot super powerful laser separately. This guardian comes with other surprises but, what was stated already is enough for it to overpower and triumph over Stalkers and Watchers...I mean it can fly too, but not all too well.
Definitely the Skywatchers are the toughest ones. Even with a shield parry, it's hit-or-miss whether the deflected laser does massive damage or not because of how the eye keeps waving about! I least I can defeat Stalkers pretty consistently on horse or with a shield
Does Guardians that are in the ancient shrines just so you know when they are dead they have a plasma beam that's twice as bad as the guardian beam which could take down a guardian with one shot which is the plasma beam that is used at the end of the Guardians the test of strength Guardians can beat That by using their heavy laser when they're injured
I think overall the guardian scout IV is the true winner but it relies on a specific scenario which is if the guardian scout comes with a guardian shield. These guardian shields always reflect guardian lasers back at the opponent which is the only attack the guardians have and knowing this they can easily just reflect the lasers. Even a guardian scout III could do that, but the true winner is the Scout IV because they are just stronger overall from a scout III. that’s my big opinion feel free to challenge it
I'd say that the Guardian Scouts would have a better chance against the Guardian Stalkers because of literally one thing: Sheilds. Though there are actually 9 Guardian types (with the inclusion of the non-attacking blue-shielded one), The flying ones are stupidly strong, and they have their wing support things that already have more health than the Guardian Stalker's legs, so I completely agree with that choice.
I think that if a scout got a lucky laser shot on a stalkers eye, it very well could win, and let's not forget that scouts wield the guardian weapons, which stalkers are vulnerable to, if it got a shot in the stalkers eye and then ran up and attacked the legs it could win the fight
For sure the much better version of the guardians is the Battle Tested-Guardian, as even its description says it, shows how it has had several fights already and it has remained functional, and it even learns from its own mistakes as in the game when you deflect its beam, because you have to fight it, it actually deflects it back to you, plus it knows many more tactics while fighting, AND it can also hover!! So yes definitely thats the supreme guardian to me
I've watched this four times so far and agree 80 percent with you but. There is one thing that leaves me doubtful of which you could return to cover later on in a rematch. The melee guardians can spin and launch at alarmingly fast speeds. Given that their weapons are also their own weakness if a melee guardian launched itself at a stalker guardians legs there is a possibility of victory 1v1 given that when melee spin and launch they effectively appear faster than stalkers...not to mention appear to hover which imply they could potentially helicopter their way around hither and thither.
there's also more types of guardians you didn't talk about like the one you can find near vah rudania on the death mountain, you know these little things who alert vah rudania if you get caught in their sight. and there's the turrets that protects vah medoh. but yeah I agree with you, the skywatchers are the most dangerous- Wait... Battle-Tested Guardian wins, no question. Should of had him and Terrako on the list, would of helped get to 10 minutes better than ranking the one air based guardian and then the ground based ones.
The skywatcher Guardians just give up pretty easily like they stay around their territory while the leg water Guardians they will actually catch up to you so how does that count

Ok so I have a question.. If the guardian all came from the pillars. How did the stationary guardians at Hyrule Castle end up getting to where they are if they cant move from their location? All of the guardians came from the pillars and you see them moving so where they just always there on the castle waiting to be activated or did other guardians help them move to place?
I would think they were there before the Calamity. They could have been put there to protect the castle and just under Ganon's control now. But that's just my theory, my GAME THEORY!
The legend of zelda timeline and lore is like the coronavirus,a inconsistent mess of backwards and forwards only concluding in emptiness and overall confusion.
hey how about the other guardians from the silent realm could they win? edit and the scouts obviously aren't corrupted so they are using a testing ai if it was for real combat it could be a horror to see and even a normal v 2 could do well if it has a shield ofc no weapons but they can move fast and still shoot the test v2 will have the big lazer like the other test guardians stronger than a normal v2 as well buuut there is only one that was built better than all the rest the white v2 ofc no lazer and no weapon variety as there is only one buuut it has one thing it has superior durability being made to be whats basically a training dummy it was also made to take everything and anything it is built to last
I think the guardian Scout can easily win because of its rapid flurry attack where it spins around all his weapons cutting off the guardian stalkers legs all at once then all I have to do is stab the guardian stalker in the eye and then he wins
Yeah Harbinger Ganon is pretty powerful since he can deal immense damage and his laser attack range is surprisingly wide since it will still deal damage even if the direct laser itself doesn't hit you as well as 4 blades it can use heck it even has a spin attack. Harbinger Ganon is also a good deal smarter than almost all the Guardians since it's the primary vessel Calamity Ganon uses in Age of Calamity before adopting it's "Dormammu mixed with Akuma" form. And Terrako and the Battle Tested Guardian are just straight up badasses one of which is pretty much the R2 D2 of the franchise but has the ingenuity of the Terminator and the other is straight up a guardian on steroids.

Really, the best way to test which is strongest would be to hack the game and put the guardians up against each other somehow, like a boss vs. boss match the Soulsborne community does. Sadly, I doubt that will be happening.

Sorry Doc, but you're wrong the strongest Guardian is the Battle-tested guardian seen in Age of Calamity. It's bio says it's a specialized model designed for combat and is more powerful than other types.
PS: you forgot the fire, ice, electric and malice versions
That's in an alternate universe he's means BOTW not AOC
what about the detection gaurdians found in the path to the divine beast vah rudania
I mean playing as link you can just parry the laser.
Well the most powerful guardian is the battle tested guardian
Ok so I have a question.. If the guardian all came from the pillars. How did the stationary guardians at Hyrule Castle end up getting to where they are if they cant move from their location? All of the guardians came from the pillars and you see them moving so where they just always there on the castle waiting to be activated or did other guardians help them move to place?
I would think they were there before the Calamity. They could have been put there to protect the castle and just under Ganon's control now. But that's just my theory, my GAME THEORY!
@@professatristan3223 I love that last part 🤣
Gaurdian squad
The legend of zelda timeline and lore is like the coronavirus,a inconsistent mess of backwards and forwards only concluding in emptiness and overall confusion.
Not for me. I understand the Zelda timeline perfectly
They had already slow down the guardian by comparing to the first botw trailer
7:34 WEEGEE
Skywatchers tend to wobble instead of actually trying to mover out of the way.
Gaurdian, yes Willy, Gaurdian
i fixed it hahaha
“Gaurdian”
fixed it lol
@@drwily lol
@@drwily Your Videos are incredibly epic. You have put so much work put into them and that’s what makes them so unique and cool.
hey how about the other guardians from the silent realm could they win?
edit
and the scouts obviously aren't corrupted so they are using a testing ai if it was for real combat it could be a horror to see and even a normal v 2 could do well if it has a shield ofc no weapons but they can move fast and still shoot
the test v2 will have the big lazer like the other test guardians stronger than a normal v2 as well
buuut
there is only one that was built better than all the rest
the white v2
ofc no lazer
and no weapon variety as there is only one
buuut
it has one thing
it has superior durability
being made to be whats basically a training dummy it was also made to take everything and anything
it is built to last
I think guardian scout rules
imo guardian scout 4 would beat stalker while guardian watcher would beat scout
Wut I thought that the laser was big and fast on as stalker
I think the guardian Scout can easily win because of its rapid flurry attack where it spins around all his weapons cutting off the guardian stalkers legs all at once then all I have to do is stab the guardian stalker in the eye and then he wins
I mean all he has to do
Top 3: harbinger ganon
Battle tested guardian
Terrako
@@chadpeterson5698 i never thought of terrako as r2 d2 but yeah thats probably why i enjoy playing as him so much
The strongest guardian is obviously the guardian
Who's this? THE EDITOR! What am I saying? Two weegees hidden in the video!
What do you get? To be hidden in the next video.
...Yea ... just respond to this comment with the two weegee's time stamps!
3:46 and 7:36 the weegee lord has returned
@@shanevanboxtel7337 CONGRATS! YOU ARE THE WEEGEE LORD!
Really, the best way to test which is strongest would be to hack the game and put the guardians up against each other somehow, like a boss vs. boss match the Soulsborne community does. Sadly, I doubt that will be happening.
yes
What about the time traveling Terriko?
And the Battle Tested Guardian those 2 in particular would wipe out the competition.
They all die easily to a pot lid, lol.
What about the guardians on Vah Ruta's shield?
Vah Ruta doesn't have a shield.
I meant Vah Medoh
