As the owner of a flower farm in Indiana, this is so exciting for you! It’s a lot of work, but the flower bug is real! Once you start, you’ll never be able to stop! Enjoy!
So fun! Raised beds of any kind look so nice! I just do a few smaller in-ground gardens. I have several flower varieties planted already. We'll see if I have room for many veggies by the time it's warm enough here to plant them haha! But the veggies I do are often just tomatoes and peppers. I might do a few more things this year.
I have a little cut flower business so this is so fun for me to watch! I am growing several of the Floret original varieties this year as well and am SO excited. Happy growing :)
@@Kian_Wolfgang different types of lettuce, squash, romanesco (type of caulliflower), cucumbers, onions, we have a bunch of strawberry plants from 2 years ago already, cabbage, we have some berry plants from a few years ago as well We dont have raised beds though, so slugs are a real problem
Definitely try again! You should join a facebook group dedicated to your growing zone, it varies so much and having people in your zone giving advice is a true game changer
Aw thank you!! Kyle has been wanting to start posting again & im still praying on it 😅 but im sure we’ll do more videos together sometime in the future
Strawberry growing tips: the first year you grow them, snip off the blooms. You won’t get any strawberries the first year, but the plant itself will use that energy instead to grow a healthier root system. It may seem counterintuitive, but the plant will make up for it in the years to come! Also, get a mix of June and ever bearing strawberries to spread out harvest times!
Im excited for your gardening, may it be fruitful!😊
So excited for part 2 & the rest! Joyful Garden Journey to you! Thank you for inviting us along with you!

That’s amazing!! Do you sell bouquets or the flowers to florists?
@@Kian_Wolfgang I sell mixed bouquets, dahlia tubers, and bulk buckets! I’m hoping to get into selling to florists this year :)
was looking forward to seeing a gardening video :)
last weekend we planted some vegetables into our garden
Amazing! What did you plant? I need some ideas for my veggie garden

Thank you! I am hoping since we don't have a frost, I might get some berries this year 😋I just planted 9 strawberry started in the garden
👍
for veggies, I find salad, peas, beans grow well from seeds but cucumbers, tomatoes and others do better if you get the seedlings
Just started some cucumber seeds! Might try some sugar snap peas
Remember to put up barriers from wild boar, or deer, rabbits, flying pests etc.!
Just had deer eat some of my kale 😅 I put up a barrier yesterday
strawberry plants last longer than a year
Amazing!!
