after all these years I still don't get why no one of the good companies never picked up on making a full android watch. is there really no market for it? is it one of those "intellectual property" things? does not google want android to be used in a watch? it can't be impossible to make a decent full android watch, as we all can see these chinese watches although they still are more toys than watches (especially since they started to get clown sized) have come a frigging long way. why oh why can't someone make a good quality full android watch with high class materials & sensors, a good screen, 50ATM, wireless charging, NFC and such? I'd pay whatever they'd ask for it , and I know you would too
I haven't been keeping up with developments in full android watches for a while, last time I was around watches were running on android 7 and having more than 2 gigs of RAM meant a high-end watch, haha. Crazy how fast the field has evolved, can't wait to buy a newer watch when my optimus pro gives up (doesn't look like it will be soon, though!) As always, love your reviews :)
My main issue with these smart/android watches is the charging pins at the back, it breaks easily. I highly suggest to these developers to switch to wireless charging. I have a smartwatch that is wireless charging and it works perfectly compared to my Kospet Prime watch which died easily because of these issues.
Will this watch let me answer calls from my phone? I'm not interested in adding my sim card to it, but I want a full android smartwatch... can it show me the notifications from my phone like a wear os device?
This smartwatches will show you the notification of somebody calling you at your cell phone but you can't answer the call directly from your watch. That will occurs ONLY if somebody calls you at your SIM on your watch. Notice the difference? You can also make calls from your watch with the SIM putted on it.
Are there any plans for an app comparison? These watches have impressive hardware but a terrible app or middling hardware but a surprisingly functional app it seems! Would be nice to see a side by side!
Hi, because I am directly interested in the purchase mainly for running and music to play during training, I want to ask something very basic 1) by inserting a SIM card, can I install a official and full radio application (eg tunein) and have it work without having my mobile with me? 2) I imagine that if I connect bluetooth headphones I will be able to listen radio or music, right? 3) does nfc generally work for payments? (I live in Greece) Thank you and I look forward to your reply

I was starting to wonder if people were still developing full Android smart watches. The last one I had was pretty fun. The huge ticwris. I did eventually get a wear OS watch instead. But it was fun being able to use third-party launchers on a giant Square smartphone watch. I still have some laying around
@@redemption882 yeah I think I had this slightly bigger variant but it was pretty good. I could use Nova Launcher or lawn chair and then set the gestures up for double tap for assistant. Hi Mr. Tics Can you do a test of the music app in conjuction with the sports apps. Load 100gb of local mp3 files and see if the interface makes sense, if it can be navigated and work at the same time as the fitness apps? I want a watch with large storage capacity, so I can load it with mp3s, but I have no idea if it is practical in use on these watches.
I kind of did this myself, by the way, as I bought the thing. It runs well, I did use a third party music player named Blackplayer, which works fine for me (though icons etc are a bit tiny)
So this is my first Android watch and when I first got the watch I didn't have a sim card installed and it would not connect to Bluetooth after several attempts. Does a sim card need to be installed for the watch to function. Also will the watch have its own phone number or use my cell phone number?
Some Android OS's hide certain apps in the playstore. I will purchase via your links, but I need a question answered. Are these apps visible and downloadable via the Google Playstore: 1) Prime Video, 2) Pluto TV, 3) Lifx, 4) Netflix, 5) Ring Doorbell, 6) Sling TV, 7) Zoom. Thanks much in advance!

It's so sad to see that no AMOLED screens were ever developed larger than 1.39". Since the market appears to want larger round watches, the tradeoff is to move away from AMOLED. I haven't heard of any 1.6" or larger AMOLED screens under development, but it one is ever put out, you can bet all companies will start using it.
