Foster Brooks, Brett Somers, Charles Nelson Reilly, Sarah Purcell, Scoey Mitchlll, and Fannie Flagg
I love Gene's blue and brown combination, but Charles cracks me up when he teases Gene about fashion. :)
I love when Charles said to him "you and your borrowed suits" on another episode.
"How sweet it is" was an old Jackie Gleason saying from the early 1960s.
The "Jackie Gleason Show" started in the late 1950s.
When Mary's father caught John and Mary alone together, he said, "Don't give me that innocent act, Mary. Your dress is on BACKWARDS." (1 match, plus contestant.)

Yuck!
Gene Rayburn has always been the best dressed MC! Always has been always will be! He’s an excellent MC also! He’s one sharp dresser. He knows how to wear a suit.
Why can I not stop watching this show?
I can't say it enough, I wish foster brooks woulda been a regular. In spite of that dreadful jacket. Can't believe, not one gravy and mashed potatoes?
The tie wasn't so bad though.
Your comment reminded me of an interview Billy Bob Thornton did with his band the Boxmasters, on a Canadian channel. He was on tour with Willie Nelson. Billy got mad that the interviewer brought up his acting career. He became very difficult in the interview. He eventually insulted all of Canada by saying their audiences were "mashed potatoes and no gravy." They ended up leaving the tour soon after. You can find the interview on TH-cam, titled Billy Bob Thornton blow up on Q TV.
@@pencils812 never was into many movies but every time I hear Billy Bob's name I immediately think of sling blade, fun fact, in spite of being severely dyslexic he wrote the entire script to the movie, attributing his success to the spell check on his word processor
@@donaldleroy6502 wow!

Could be Charles "Oriental" comment at 15:32
I'm guessing the "dress on fire" is a variation on "pants on fire" (i.e. she's lying).
