    I found that aiming for 2:1 helped my trading psychology when I racked up losses, if that makes sense.
    Even if you get 3 losses in a row, if you get 2 winning trades, you're still up 1R.
    It helped my psychology to know that even if my win rate went below 50%, I could still be profitable. My win rate is usually 55-75% most weeks.
    I mainly trade platinum and gold.

      I know a couple traders form Goldman-Sachs, and they only need to hit a consistent 55% win rate. Of course they gain much more then they lose, but that goes to show that the professionalist of the traders at the highest levels can make money with a very average win rate.

      Thank you again! What did you think of an analytical part of the video? It seems like that "get rich quick" crown doesn't appreciate it, but real traders find it very interesting.

      @@naturerelaxmusic2598 There is something called a Fulcrum, and that can give you bigger trades as well. A Fulcrum is where the price is at the sweet spot on more than o ne timeframe, and these areas have explosive power!

      I found this video to be extremely interesting since I myself have trying to figure out such a process for a long time including the fulcrum ideology. Any further insight on the fulcrum is greatly appreciated. Another idea I’ve been exploring is the confluence of time frames (chart patterns and cycle indicators on 5 min and 15 min charts lining up with hourly charts for a setup. Keep up the good work and awesome videos.

      @@AliSeyrafizadeh Thank you very much! The Fulcrum is a sweet spot that occurs on 3 timeframes at the same time. It's an explosive section of the market that can allow for some big trades.

    An interesting statistic: if you were to only aim for 2:1 R/R, a 25% win rate would leave you at break-even. So hypothetically all you'd need to be a profitable trader would be a win rate higher than 25%.
    For 1.5:1 you'd need a win rate of roughly 34% to be profitable in the long run.
    If you trade using that type of risk management, even a crappy strategy can be profitable...in theory.

      @UltraBlueForex  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's pretty close. If you have a 2:1, you have to win 33% of your trades to break-even. To have a BE rate of 25%, you would have to have 3:1 trades, which is still pretty doable. And you're right, even with a mediocre system, as long as you can hit those targets, you can make money with a less than 50/50 win rate!

      I actually edited a part about that out of the video. You are right, it's a really long tade and in a replay video it seems like it's no problem, but the reality of it is that it moves in very slow motion, especially when you are managing the higher timeframes. Towards the end of the trade, you only nee to look at the chart every few hours.
