Series Voltage Regulator (4 - Regulators)

Derivation of all design equations for series voltage regulator with a pass transistor and zener diode. This remedies some shortcomings with a simple zener shunt regulator. This is the version without negative feedback. In a subsequent video, I'll continue with an improved version containing negative feedback. This is a continuation of a series of videos about power supply design/voltage regulators.
