Thank you yes I sent to your video and found the mobility command FB site I just don't know how to get to the flights. Can you be more specific about that! So sorry to be such a pain but I'm not sure why I'm not seeing it. And I really want to access this benefit.
No worries. What terminal are you trying to fly from? For the FB Page, simply look at the posts for their flight schedule. You can also look up the official website for the terminal and scroll down to 72 hour flights or monthly schedule.
Please remind folks who are thinking about taking space A flights that they may get stranded. IN 27 years found out it easier and cheaper to just buy a plane ticket. Leave is valuable. Don't waste time waiting on a flight that you might get a seat. Buy a ticket and enjoy your leave. Use Ryan Air if you are in Europe. Found Space A great to getting to Hawaii from Travis AFB but you better plan on buying a ticket back.
This is a great reminder! I hope that people joining in the comments can learn from collective experience which Space A flights and terminals are best! Norfolk has great/predicable flights to Greece but not to other locations.
Reservist are eligible to travel with Space A but they are in category 6 “National Guard/Reserve components/members of the Ready Reserve and members of the Standby Reserve who are on the Active Status List.” Please look at additional information here. www.amc.af.mil/AMC-Travel-Site/AMC-Space-Available-Travel-Page/
Please adjust your music volume in the intro. It is NOT the same volume level as your speaking voice. It BLARES out, out of no where and have me reaching for the volume control immediately.
Hi Josh, Junior enlisted is a better term for newly enlisted service members. However, Junior enlisted service members are authorized to use space A as long as they have requested leave properly through their chain of command and have the paperwork.
You must have an approved DA31, Pass or Leave form signed by your COC. This is best practice as well because the flights can be unpredictable and you are flying out of state or country.
