As a fellow Muslim Revert… Sheikh Abdur Raheem McCarthy is the one of the only similar revert stories i have come across… As an ex-drug dealer to now , Allah[SWT]/Islam saved my life!!! I recited The Shahada on January 26, 2023… the greatest night of my life!!!
I am the mother of the wonderful boy he mentions at the end of the video. We are grateful for Sheikh Abdur Raheem’s guidance the day we took our shahada. I’m blessed to be on this journey with my son.
I left christianity and thought i was through with religion until i started learning about Islam. Still just cutious but these stories are so powerful. ❤
I'm not a religious person but I feel all the testimonies of the reverts on this channel have changed lives for the better, and transformed them into people that spread hope & love in the world.
Mashallah brother i also reverted to Islam few years ago, i thank Allah for opening may eyes . And for anyone who is considering or interest in Islam , first step is find a copy of Holy Quran translated in your preferred language, read it , do not treated as an ordinary book, you give yourself sometime to undersand it and study the book. , continue this jurney by reading the Holy Quran and start making some changes in your lifestyle. It's not going to be a walk in the park, but it will be worth every second of your life. If you want to do the shahada after you are sure you are ready to accept Islam, you can contact any Islamic center where you live and the imam will arrange that for you, The main thing to become a muslim is to belive that ' There is only one God/Allah and Mohammed is the messenger and the last prophet of God. If you say and believe this with all your heart congratulations you are a muslim.

As a born Muslim, I resonate to this a lot, I was astray in my teenage years to my very early twenties. Alhamdulilah after educating myself for me and trying to actually understand what has been taught to me as an adult has really brightened up my life for years. Inshallah for everybody who has had rough paths when they were young or even now, Allah is always there for you, we just need to closer back to the All Mighty.
