- Doing the new FFXIV 24-man Raid blind on patch day of 4.5, the Orbonne Monastery. Really probably the best 24-man they've done to date. Will be an issue for pugs of course for the first week but still, fun fights, great music, and locations.

Im quite late to the train, but as a HUGE fan of FFT, seeing these characters, the music, it just waters my eyes. I love final fantasy tactics so much. Can't wait to do this content in the future
It was all so good back in Stormblood! But yeah, it's there waiting. It's awesome that SE doesn't remove old content. In fact, with so many new players coming to the game as of late, you might find some of these old 24-mans challenging again as people forget the mechanics.
@@TheRealLink I regularly run Orbonne because even into Endwalker, it's still my favorite 24-man by far (I _hate_ running Labyrinth of the Ancients, Syrcus Tower, & World of Darkness though, because of just how irritatingly common it is to get them in Roulette, though that just makes me happier when I wind up in a Roulette run that _isn't_ part of the Crystal Tower trilogy), and more than once we've had a few wipes due to people experiencing it blind for the first time or people not remembering how the fights work, though in most cases since I tend to run Orbonne as either a Red Mage or Sage, my being a "veteran" who loves this particular 24-man, I can usually pull my own party back from the brink if things go south.
I still remember one particular run of this where we were pretty much a 50/50 split of veterans and newbies, and the veterans like me collectively refrained from explaining each boss ahead of time and would let the newbies experience each boss as "blind" as possible. And when we got to Thunder God, we wiped probably 4-5 times because the newbies didn't understand how Duskblade worked or how to place the "orbs" for Shadowblade, and the newbies started to pretty clearly feel really bad about it, to which I was quick to reassure them that it was fine and Thunder God was essentially the hardest boss in the raid, and the other veterans were quick to back me up, and we then explained how to deal with Duskblade and Shadowblade, and we cleared Thunder God on our very next attempt, where I then reassured the newbies by pointing out how much smoother the fight went once they knew what to do. And we only wiped to Ultima once (mainly because of the chaotic mess that is dodging Belius, Hashmal, & Famfrit's mechanics all at once wiped out about 80% of us (I was one of the few survivors, but we had nowhere near enough heals or DPS for the Ruination phase that followed, which led to the wipe), but we cleared the entire Ultima fight on our very next attempt with minimal trouble.
When I'm one of the "veterans" of a particular run, I try to be as reassuring as possible for any newbies (or people who simply don't remember that particular run).
My God, the feels I got from hearing the music and watching this is insane. I hope I can find a FC that still do this content
Yeah it's great! The best news is since this is casual raiding and is still the most current 24-man out, you will easily be able to find people to run this, no FC necessary. It helps of course, but not required.

My first time running Orbonne, I was really torn when we got to Agrias. I was both happy to see her again after so long, and sad that I had to fight her because she saved my sorry hide big-time the first time I ever fought Queklain/Cu Chulainn in Tactics (if not for Agrias, I 100% _would_ have lost).
But at this point I'm just holding out hope that the rumors of a FF Tactics Remake being in the works are true, and if they are true, the instant the game can be pre-ordered/bought, I'm throwing my money at it in a heartbeat.
Wow! The amount of efforts the team put into this game is just mind blowing. Time to join the bandwagon once more :)

@@paytwoyaj8332 It's the only 24-man to have you start off with the Echo active by default, and they heavily nerfed Thunder God in particular. Initially, if just one or two people missed Duskblade, it usually meant a wipe. Now, you can have 4-5, maybe even 6 people miss Duskblade and still avoid a wipe.
In it's original state, Thunder God would consistently cause _a lot_ of wipes, just on his own.

You can turn off nearly all other graphics on players. I just choose to keep them on.

There are tools and logs as well as analytics that can show you how to improve, even if it's not an add-on directly. I'd say give it a shot.

Sometimes it’s actually quicker to spam so the server will read the input better bc if you wait then you can get delay between your reaction time to the cd ending and the input being read by the server
