Edit: I just now realized that the original comment I left on this thread in response to the original commenter was a paragraph about mild complaints about Superstar Saga when they were asking about Bowser's inside Story. Turns out, I have a tendency to frequently mix those two games up for some reason. Reading comprehension was never my strongest subject in school. So as for Bowser's Inside Story, I would like to see an LP of it on this channel as well. It's probably gonna be the only way I would ever experience the game, as I missed the original release, and my money's tight enough that the only game I'm likely to get in the next few months will be Smash Bros. Ultimate.
I once asked him if he would play one of those games on his channel but I don’t think he wants to do it because of the last time he ever did a Let’s Play. He never finished them. One of my favorites that wasn't mentioned in the actual video is Wave Race 64. Was one of my first racing games right next to Mario Kart 64 & from the first race, I fell in love with it. The great soundtrack that fits the racetracks, The slalom style gameplay of having to pass the buoys at specific sides adding to the strategy of finding the fastest race lines, & the really well done physics mixing with how the waves can make each lap feel unique. I played the game so much that the cartridge stopped working. Thank god for the VC release.

I don't expect anyone else to agree with me, but my favorite Mario title for the 64 is actually Yoshi's Story. I just have so many good memories from it, and it was a game I played with my family a lot. Other games not on this list that would be on mine would be one of the Pokemon Stadium Games (probably 2, it has better minigames), Tetris, Smash 64, NFL Blitz 2001, and 1080 Snowboarding.
Yeah, I used to play 1080 all the time. It was a game I played a lot with my family, and it was usually a pretty fun time. Sometimes we just intentionally wiped out cause it was funny to see them fumble on the courses.
My Favorite N64 games...well I would go with most of your picks as well but also add Rocket: Robot On Wheels, Mischief Maker, Vigilante 8, Mario Kart 64, Bomberman 64, and Super Smash Bros. Another great list Fawful's Minion, from one N64 fan to another. Well done!

One game I find to be pretty fun that ISNT given as much credit that I think it deserves is mega man 64. Yes it’s a port of mega man legends for the PS1, but I think that 64 is better because the 64 version improves upon the controls on the PS1 version. It DOES pale in comparison to the likes of mario 64 or banjo kazooie, but it deserves SOME recognition imo. Also when I clicked on this video there was more likes then there were views. Why.

80's kid here.. But i got my N64 at 16 year and it was my first console ever. My parents didn't wanted to buy a SNES (although i begged) But when i was 16 i got my N64 with SM64 and Goldeneye from my father for my birthday.. With OOT a month later. That started my lifelong collecting of games and today i own over 750 games and 10 consoles. And yes that includes my good old N64 which I will never ever sell. So much memories.

I couldn't agree more with Logan on #1. StarFox was one of the only things I used to play in the 64, and it was a gorgeous diamond. Every time I hear the credits music, I become a tear-jerker! Definitely, the best N64 game I've ever played.

Hey Fawful! I've been a fan of your videos all the way back since 2012, and if there's one video I'd love to see you remake, it would have to be top 10 video game killjoys! This video has brought me entertainment for years.
Finally someone who loves DK64 like I do. I think the game gets so much unnecessary crap for having tedious parts and nobody really appreciates that it's still fundamentally a good game. If you're playing it casually, you can completely ignore almost all of the negative points thrown against it. While many see it as a flawed experience if you go for 100%, I still think of it as a grand sandbox adventure that I see myself coming back to time and time again. You may not see it the same way, and that's fine. However, you shouldn't demerit the game's overall value if the journey to 100%ing it is too much of a long haul for you. You can still enjoy the title for all its glory just as much with a casual playthrough. I mean, 100%ing Super Mario Sunshine is an absolute chore for many people including me, but I love the game regardless and the overall reception was very positive as well. This is because, like I said for DK64, it's a fundamentally good game. I just wish more people could see that for this title.
I don't get why people have the need to 100 percent complete collecathons i always see it as pick any mission you want as long if you have enough golden items to continue Now i do think keeping items separate is just padding,and this is coming from who loves the game to death and prefer over Banjo

I couldn't agree more with Logan on #1. StarFox was one of the only things I used to play in the 64, and it was a gorgeous diamond. Every time I hear the credits music, I become a tear-jerker! Definitely, the best N64 game I've ever played.

Hey Fawful! I've been a fan of your videos all the way back since 2012, and if there's one video I'd love to see you remake, it would have to be top 10 video game killjoys! This video has brought me entertainment for years.
#4 and 5 are my favorite games of all time. They are always excluded from Best of lists and I'm so so happy rn
Finally someone who loves DK64 like I do. I think the game gets so much unnecessary crap for having tedious parts and nobody really appreciates that it's still fundamentally a good game. If you're playing it casually, you can completely ignore almost all of the negative points thrown against it. While many see it as a flawed experience if you go for 100%, I still think of it as a grand sandbox adventure that I see myself coming back to time and time again. You may not see it the same way, and that's fine. However, you shouldn't demerit the game's overall value if the journey to 100%ing it is too much of a long haul for you. You can still enjoy the title for all its glory just as much with a casual playthrough. I mean, 100%ing Super Mario Sunshine is an absolute chore for many people including me, but I love the game regardless and the overall reception was very positive as well. This is because, like I said for DK64, it's a fundamentally good game. I just wish more people could see that for this title.
I don't get why people have the need to 100 percent complete collecathons i always see it as pick any mission you want as long if you have enough golden items to continue
Now i do think keeping items separate is just padding,and this is coming from who loves the game to death and prefer over Banjo

I am convinced that Banjo Kazooie and Tooie are the best games that I have never gotten the luck to play.
The cool thing about Banjo-Tooie is that if you found the eggs and ice keys in Banjo-Kazooie you could unlock thing in Banjo-Tooie. This is extremely innovative. I wish that the banjo series didn't die.

Donkey Kong 64 will always be my favorite. I have fond memories of me and my friend working together to find all the Golden Bananas. And then dominating each other in the versus mode...good times....

Amazing list! My list would be a lot like yours. StarFox 64 was the first game I got for my 64 and it's just as important to me personally. Dk64 and Banjo Tooie are my favorites from Rare and Bomberman Hero is another guilty pleasure of mine. Great list man, and keep up the amazing work!
