Cheers to Mike Luke and his TH-cam channel for throwing out such a great idea and challenge to drummers! Mike made a challenge a few weeks ago to drummers to not neglect slow tempos and cover this great tune by the late Gary Moore "Still Got The Blues" to strengthen our down tempo skill. This is a great song to work on down tempos and I couldn't agree more with Mike's statement, to work on slower tempos. This was the perfect song and opportunity to incorporate this skill strengthening and control exercise. Thanks Mike for the wonderful reminder my friend, this was a blast for me!

This was a fun one to work on, I stayed out of the way of it quite a bit, I didn't really open up much until the last round of soloing. :-) Yes, this intro is fairly new, I've used it in only one or two videos...hope you liked it. :-) The drums were played by Nate, it's a segment from one of our earlier videos. 😊✌🏼

In my opinion, it was one of the best performances ever on your channel, and I‘m not sayin‘ this because of that particular challenge I started.
