Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam is also known as 'Missile Man of India'. He was the President of India from 2002 to 2007. Dr. Kalam spent four decades as a scientist and science administrator, mainly at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and was intimately involved in the India's civilian space program and military missile development efforts. He also played a pivotal organizational, technical and political role in India's Pokhran-II nuclear tests in 1998, the first since the original nuclear test by India in 1974. He is currently a visiting professor at Indian Institute of Management Shillong, Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and Indian Institute of Management, Indore. Honorary fellow of Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Chancellor of the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram. A professor of Aerospace Engineering at Anna University (Chennai), JSS University (Mysore) and an adjunct/visiting faculty at many other academic and research institutions across India.

After giving 45m of continuous speech, he actually feels tired, and very badly wanted to a rest it looks like.. Kalam sir was little restless towards the end.. Students must have understood his age factor and tiredness and should have sent the questions by mail instead of continiously asking him….
He is a great soul who could not even show his discomfort to people so openly, but trying the best to make the people happy till the end…. he saying if there is not mike also speak loudly by saying "Shout and Shout"… Kalam Sir, must have been really felt discomfort of standing so long and speaking… or at least these dumb professors who are sitting must have given him some water and made him to sit on the chair and receive the questions from the nagging students….atleast, he would have felt relaxed…. he is 83 and not a easy thing to do what he did.. :( .. Miss you very badly sir… Pls Come Back :( … A big vacuum in the country…. :(

I was present for this event. We were all pumped up and personally I didn't notice his tiredness.
Sadly he passed away some months after this event, While addressing youngsters like us.

while listening the lecture i lost the contract of outer life.......... i can't describe the feeling that i have for the priceless inspirational power bank of billions indians, the missile man, 11st independent people's president of india, the professor . I and we all just love you kalam sir............we miss you............... india will always miss you.................. we lost................... yes we lost...................... But you are in the deep of our heart .......................
