      Thanks for watching Daniel. Absolutely man. Baking hot in the summer but that´s what I like anyway. Great pueblos, tons of open landscapes...hard to beat.

      Hey! Thanks for watching and for commenting! Much appreciated. To answer your question: I use a Canon EOS250d and GoPro hero 5. At the time of filming this I never had any external microphones for either but I reckon I’ll be adding those, first to the dslr and I’ll probably bite the bullet on the adaptor for the GoPro…

    Great effort, well done. I've had my nomad a year now & just serviced the rohloff, bt still can't put my feet on the ground easily due ot the 27.5" tyres. It's a great bike. Hope you get away again soon.

      @kvbcycles  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Ashley thanks for watching! hope the Nomad is treating you well. You´ve got the bigger wheels, very cool. Good thing that most of the time your feet will be on the pedals anyway! :) Might have mentioned this to you before but I have the same thing, I try stop next to curbs or stones or whatever you know. Hope you got some touring planned for yourself too!

    Nice video! I was wondering if it'd be possible to camp around there, but itlooks like you found plenty of nice spots to pitch your tent. I haven't cycled in Spain yet, but looking into it. The landscapes remind me a bit of Morocco. On video it can seem a bit dry and perhaps boring, but I really liked in Morocco, mostly the mountainous regions though (Atlas mountains).

      Cheers Timothy! Yes, I find camping in Spain quite easy to find, and people are also happy to help if you ask nicely. Andalucía is quite big and it varies, the east around Almeria is incredibly dry…but Morocco…next level 😄 but likewise, loved Morocco!

    Great video of a lovely part of the world. I am planning to get to Spain and Portugal o my next trip to Europe. Tell me, I notice that you have the Rohloff shifter on the left grip. Why have you done that? I ask as I have a thumb injury that is aggravated by shifter operation and am about to swap the shifter to the left for a while. Also, have you got a shortened (Rohloff-adapted) left Ergon grip? Interesting...

    • @kvbcycles
      @kvbcycles  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Peter, I opted for the left hand shifter because I’m left handed. Re ergon grip, yes, the left hand grip was shortened with a hack saw to fit 🙂 might have to replace my shifter soon, when it rains it becomes almost like soap, impossible to grip without gloves.

    • @petesig93
      @petesig93 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@kvbcycles yes, I am on my third set of Ergon grips, as they do wear the textured surface off in long-term use and eventually go all sticky too. My shifter is getting replaced in the next few days (the old version#1 triangular grip). It is still fine but getting harder to grip onto, so as I needed to replace the EX-box (mounting thumb-screw stripped the internal thread) I decided 11 years was about time for a new gearshift kit all round. BTW, do you live in Melilla? Funny old place that few people know even exists.

      I do live in Melilla! 😄 sounds like you’ve visited before! When was that? And yeah, I think 1 in 100 people have heard of it 😄

    im off to france and spain in july , noticed you have a solar panel are they any good which one are you using ?

    • @kvbcycles
      @kvbcycles  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Aye, they’re great. I’ve got the anker 14w with a 10000mha power bank, excellent combo for my needs. That time of year you should have plenty of sun. In Spain it can overheat in the direct afternoon sun, it gets serious hot, keep that in mind.

    What stand do you use for your bike ? Great vid

    • @kvbcycles
      @kvbcycles  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching! I use a Click-Stand. It is not a frame mounted stand, as those void the warranty on the Nomad frames. The click-stand is pretty cool, lightweight, easy to flick open and close. Also comes with these elastic bands to lock the brakes, which are super handy in other circumstances.
