Oh definitely love the GMT all black which I have nicknamed it the Green Arrow and I'm happy to say that I have it in my collection which I picked it up at the start of last year for an awesome price thanks for sharing as always Austin Daniels
I am loving my vintage Exp II 16550, Back, spider/rail dial. I’m wondering if the mystery piece could also be a 16550, but with a cream dial? Very sought after, and expensive? Just a wild guess for fun 🤩
Or it could be a 16760 with a spider rail 'no date' dial - no dates are rare anyway, but the rarest of them all is the no-date-rail-spider or NDRS. A cream 16550 would be a great choice though...
Love your channel and videos. Now my Personal view on this..... This is my favorite modern GMT but there is no way I would pay $17,000 for a Rolex that was mass manufactured for more than 10 years. I mean People have posted on the forums and FB groups that they are still picking these up for MSRP from AD's, rarely but they are our there. So for me its a No. I understand majority of owners or grey marketeers may not agree with me and everyone is entitled to their opinions. Seeing how these are going for over 12-13k USD now i just put my name down to the Nice AD for a 126710BLNR on Oyster or Jubilee (whichever is available as I love both the styles equally) as I'll at least have the opportunity to get it MSRP and I really like it too.
I tried modern sport rolexes, i was shockingly disappointed because of the heft and wears much larger than it is and made me uncomfortably unsecured and screaming pretentious! To me rolex is 36mm steel black dial watch
This is going back 3 years probably but I remember quite well you mentioning that it was not your preferred choice *green GMT hand. Fuck me dead, wished I would’ve skipped those segment/post.
The LN. Such an understated badass. The green accents are amazing. Totally prefer it to the red on the 5 digits. Love that piece.
The human condition: ”…you don’t know what you’ve got till its gone.”
Very true.
116710LN , very very nice! ❤
I am from Taiwan
Interesting - I lived in Hsinchu for a year.

Green arrow, that is a great name! Now I know what to call mine :D
Recently got the black ceramic gmt . It’s a beauty 🤓
I'm casting my ballot: the other watch is an Archie 1016!
Thank you, Austin.
If I could only own 1 modern steel Rolex the bbb would be the one 😎.
I have one and enjoy it every single day
love the all black
2 piece collection is all you need:
Rolex GMT
Rolex Daytona
Does cape cod clothes used regularly count as polished or only machine polished that count?
how often is "regularly"? There's no need to to take a cape cod cloth to your watch more than once every few months or so, at most.

I have this one. Why doesn’t this gmt have a nickname like all the others?
I think I have heard “Black Beauty” and “Cappucino”? Normally it just seems to be referred to as “Lunette Noire” though.
1016?

Has more class than the Batman and the Pepsi. Too bad they made them with the bracelet with polished middle links.
