@@bricksculpt I checked out your rebrickable MOCs, and I downloaded the instructions for the Baking Table, but I'm having difficulty identifying two parts:
I couldn’t find a parts list in the downloadable PDF - but they are the blue cylinder and the blue mixing bowl.
Do you know their part numbers or Bricklink part numbers?
Many thanks in advance for your help.

The part number are found in the inventory tab on rebrickable. The blue mixing bowl is #97791 and the canister is 33011c. The canister is from the old belville stuff and is quite hard to find. I would recommend replacing it with the milk carton #3005pb016 with a white cheese slope on top #54200.

@@bricksculpt SORRY! - I didn't think to look there, I went straight for the PDF ! - Many thanks for letting me know. I've added the canister to one of my wanted lists in all the colours I could see it made in, as well as the various versions with stickers on them - I'm sure some will turn up for sale in the UK sooner or later - Thanks again.

So are you using hinges to angle the treasure chests of produce under the yellow and white awning?

    • @bricksculpt
      @bricksculpt  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

Yeah, it's kinda a fragile build so I didn't show how I did it but the chests are held together by clips holding the handles connected to plates on the underside of the upper chests and then hinges to get the angle.

Nice! I've been kicking around the idea of building a LEGO restaurant. A big one. So, I've been collecting different Lego foods and chairs and stuff. And I've got equipment built too. I was a chef familiar with big kitchens filled with fancy equipment so if anyone needs to Google something to get a picture of what I'm talking about, go ahead.
I've got a pair of steam kettles, a buffalo chopper, a tilt skillet, triple sink, hand sinks, espresso machine, reach-ins, soda fountain, a shower for the employee bathroom as well as toilets for that and public restrooms. I've got ideas for a walk-in refrigerator with door strip curtains (one will lead to the freezer made with transparent tiles), a large mixer (commonly called a Hobart for the company who makes most of them), a big griddle and cold bar (filled currently with brickbuilt hamburgers) a slicer (using a Lego saw), nice public restrooms (using a technique I developed for shiny Lego mirrors of any size), a kitchen floor with a trough drain running down the middle, a loading dock with storeroom, a modestly small chef's office, a pass through warming cabinet (aka hot box), steam tables, bain Marie, a tandoor oven, and a few other things. My dining room will have tiled floors in the herringbone pattern using a lot of L shaped tiles, chandeliers that I haven't decided on yet, and some mirrors on the ceiling ( which won't be the only "Hotel California" reference), ice sculpture ( maybe a couple on melt trays), a round brick pizza oven ( using techniques I learned from watching this channel), and other things that I haven't even thought about how to do yet.
The fact is I want to use a MDF backed base plate from dreamlab to build it on and I would not mind help from friends near me.
But, if you want another great video idea then feel free to Google any equipment you're not familiar with or ask for a tour at a local industrial kitchen near you (hospitals, Four or Five star hotels Schools, certain airports, etc.), anyplace that will allow you in to take pictures for the purpose of Lego constructions. I love all the helpful things, you sir, have taught me and I thank you because I look at everything now as stuff to make out of Lego. For instance a pizza place nearby in Colorado Springs called Fargo's pizza (look it up) would make an incredible build with LEGO. It's old timey and has curves and pillars and railings and mirrors where order numbers appear and balcony type seating on the second floor. Everytime I go there I put on my Lego eyes and look around while I wait for my pie! Have a bricktastic weekend everyone!😅

I like the salad bar too, and I first thought that baking table was a charcuterie station. But there is another idea.

I use the 1x1 green flower piece on top of a dark purple 1x1 round brick to make eggplants 🍆
I use the 1x1 green flower piece on top of [Part 32474] Technic Ball Joint in red for ripe tomatoes 🍅
That same Part 32474] Technic Ball Joint in white or tan makes for perfect white or tan onions 🧅
Part 68211 in tan makes for excellent ginseng
Part 37681 can make for excellent potatoes 🥔
Part 37681pb01 makes for excellent mandrake (depending on what “type” of market you’re building)
Part 33183 in green makes for excellent celery
Part 33183 in red could be used for rhubarb
You can make a banana rack using droid arms and the bunch of bananas (part 3566)
Of course the food & drink category has all the premade food items like bread, croissants, t bone steaks, pies, corn on the cob, etc…

Found your sand red, in the final build. As the "basic bottle" of dressing. I wonder what flavor that would be? Catalina? Red vingarette?
I've noticed that really the only meat LEGO makes is hotdogs and chicken. They print the hamburger bun and make you build it, but they don't have a burger mold. No steak either. You'd think with how popular burgers are, and with recent burger based builds, that they would just buckle down and make a proper 1x1 burger mold that is proportionate to a figure.
It would be nice if one of their new modular builds they create is a butcher shop that features new meat molds like rack of lamb, steak, and i dunno... bacon strips. Of course have the classic meat grinder and chicken legs hanging up, have some fish in there too in a new color, maybe light pink? And for the final touch, a dog begging at the door for scraps.

@@bricksculpt you know there is a bald head caps with a brown bandana that might do as a burger top bun, with a green 4-notch flower piece underneath.
