If we stay in the cannot mindset because we aren't doing certain things now then we will never get any progress that will create change with lasting impact. Agree that we focus on the basics of providing the essential needs of our people. However, aspirations and work shouldn't stop there. It also got me thinking on the focus of CII. If I was a staunch opposition and I only see evil in that plan then I'd see that as a great opportunity for red tape and cushy kickbacks. However, we seriously lack investments in industries like manufacturing such that we are exporting our natural resources as raw materials thereby missing a big opportunity on its value. We'd be better off if we could ship them as products whether domestic or international. So the flip side is totally not a bad idea.
