My friend purchased Misti last year. She was so pleased with it and it was the best product ar CHA this year, so I bought it. I thought it was too expensive to invest in but when I realized how much I spend on other products, I plunged in. THE BEST TOOL EVER! Worth every dollar. Thank you for this excellent, informative video.

This tool is phenomenal, but I am so so so in love with this stamp set that I almost forgot about it. I couldnt believe how much difference there was whenever you added a new layer of stamping. That Misti tool is fabulous though, can you imagine how long this would have taken to make without this system.

Oh, and one more thought. You do not have to apologize for long videos. I rather see a long one with detailed instructions rather than a short one leaving me wondering how you did something.

Jennifer, I can't tell you enough how invaluable your videos are. All the work you do for us is greatly appreciated. You have given me great inspiration and have helped me be a better shopper in my stamping venue. Of course, you have cost me money, too, as I love the products you have featured, LOL. Thank you, also for the ink pad swatch documents you have given us for free! I downloaded them, and boy, I have discovered how wonderful they are in selecting inks I want to use.

As soon as I saw this stamp set, I knew it would also be my favorite of all time since my MISTI was on the way after seeing you use it and I knew I'd be able to stamp it perfectly. I'm so pleased Altenew added the step-by-step diagram to the product page that highlights which parts of the rose stamps to line up that gives even more help than the "lassoes" on the stamp sheet; I wish every company that made multi-step stamps would do this. And, Tasnim's tutorial on the stamp set shows which leaf layers go with the multi-leaf solid stamps (for anyone having trouble with those). I printed the stamp product image and marked the corresponding leaf layers as I watched the video. Thank you for sharing your great tips.

I LOVE this video. I've never done layering stamping before. At first glance, it looked too complicated. Not only do you make it seem so simple, your results are beautiful. I am going to start looking for layering stamps sets, and YES I want the MISTI tool also. My first try will be with the stamp set you used. I love flowers, roses being my favorite. Can't wait to order my new toys and get started on this project. Once again I am amaze and grateful for all you videos and tips.

Hi Jen. If you cut your mask with a tail that reaches to a side of the Misti, you can make a mask that you just flip back and forth when you change cards. I think there was an example of this on the Misti youtube channel. You could actuall hinge multiple masks to different spots and just flip over the needed ones as you go.

I was completely ignoring this stamp set and didn't want to watch a video about them until you showed them off. This is a big turn around. Also a tid-bit for you, my husband showed this to me. If you make your tape a tad longer and fold the very end under against itself, is easier to grab and pull off. :0)

    • @carolmelancon
      @carolmelancon 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Yes! Whenever I use tape this way, I make what I call a "pull-tab" for myself (about 1/4 inch on the end) to make it easy to grab and peel off.

I haven't had a need to makes lots of the same card (yet), but I do have a need for a precision stamping tool. I can never seem to get my first stamping to be even; it usually leaves a bare or lighter spot somewhere in the stamp. The MISTI would be great to be able to double stamp without shadowing. Also, I like that I can take word stamps and combine them to make sentiments with the MISTI, and they are lined up perfectly on the card. I've viewed a number of videos showing what the MISTI can do, and I can see why it's named Most Incredible Stamping Tool Invented. Very entertaining and informative video, thanks!

deskjockie49 I would need it because I just can't seem to get the stamp ink everywhere it's supposed to be so if I could stamp again in the same place I could save the paper. My hands are too shaky to try to draw in the missing lines.

What beautiful cards, and what a fascinating video!
I would love to make sets of cards as gifts, and that MISTI really does make the job easier.
It does not appear to be available yet in the UK, and sadly even when it is it will almost certainly be a lot more expensive for us than it is for American customers.
We pay a lot more for many products here. It is quite depressing when I see and hear what you guys pay for a particular set of stamps, then what we would have to.
If I ever get to go on holiday to the USA, I am so going to take cheap clothes I can throw away after wearing - then I will have maximum room in my suitcase for the return journey... and will fill it with craft products!

Tin Teddy, That's a great idea, but don't just throw the clothes away. Give them to the Salvation Army for people who are poor and you will be even more blessed. ;)
I wish you could get stamping things in a less expensive way, as well.
I've ordered some things from the UK several times and some from Australia, as well. Couldn't find them anywhere in the USA and I was so thankful to be able to find them somewhere in this world.
