    I don't know how amazing this is. The legend component placed has the information under the component type. Why can you not just tag this as the wall that it is? Then if the wall ever changes, or the wall assembly number changes you won't have to update it. Also it would be nice if you could dimension the legend component but it a distant second to having the correct "parametric" tag. Isn't that what REVIT is supposed to be good at?? This seems crazy to me. I realize this may be REVIT 2014 but it doesn't look like it is any different in 2016? Please advise if it is. Thanks.

      Peter Shupe totally agree. The legend should be taggable and parametric.

    2022 and it still blows my mind why the component can't be tagged. Without it, the detail component for wall schedule is useless.

    You can insert the wall tag under the annotate tab > symbol > whatever wall tag you have loaded in your file.

    like Simon said below....what happened to the curtain wall? I am trying to do a project right now and i need to find the correct way of displaying it and dimensioning it per storefront window standards. I do not know why Revit does not have a window type as storefront/curtain wall.

    What alot of work... What the hell is it with Revit they can't automate this process better than this?? Might as well use autocad uggg.
