Totally agree Ricky - if used in the right way it’s a great treatment for bacterial issues and raised scales etc

Thank you! I’ve had a couple fish that have a few angry scales and I’ve tried everything, scraped multiple times and no parasites aside from finding 1 fluke. I did do a fluke treatment but still nothing has improved. I looked into virkon, but couldn’t find the aquatic version anywhere. I’m happy you have used the S version and it was successful.

Is there something else I should be looking for? I have taken a fish vet masterclass, spent countless hours researching, and cannot figure it out! It’s not all the fish either. I have 10 and 3 are affected. My pearl ginrin benigoi has several scales that are white, apparently pigment loss, and inflamed. If my state had an aquatic vet I would pay a professional, but frustratingly it’s not an option. I have removed 2 of the 3 affected ones and have them in qt and then a week or so my favorite chagoi showed maybe 5 raised scales along the side and there are scales that look darker than her normal root beer color.

It depends how hard I'm hitting them with it. Most of the time it's better to stop feeding when adding medications or something like this to the pond.
