      Mr.@Enowaytion_Plus : I'm not going to disagree with your comment. Probably he could have kept the title for this video as " 6 Reasons WHY low cc motorcycle riders can ALSO enjoy on LONG RIDE ". Few people who can't offered high CC bikes have lot of doubts with them that if their low CC bike is suitable for long rides or not. So, this person here in this video has clearly explained his experience. This could really put a a smile on the those who owns lower CC bikes and this should be the take away from this video. The point i want to make here is that while you finding the error in this video, you could also appreciate his motive behind this video and so while pointing out the good things of the video, this person (who is currently progressing in youtube) can feel really motivated and that is the approach of a good youtuber. This is not a hate reply, i am your subscriber to and i love your videos but also while seeing the mistaken part please do see the good part and appreciate the upcoming youtubers. Thanks :)

    I agree with all the points bro. The weight aspect is something even I remember I had also mentioned in the subscriber meet up which I had ridden from Pune to Chennai for. Yes, the speed aspect? I ride slower than 90 kmph😂 even on my RE Thunderbird 350, for the exact reason you mentioned - enjoy the journey more than reaching the destination in a hurry. The Marina beach example was so relevant. I simply love you promoting the low CC as it will encourage any two wheeler travel enthusiasts to get into it without worrying or feeling inferior to higher CC riders. Great job bro 👍🏼

    I beg to differ here ! Lower cc bikes struggle at high speed (above 80kmph) and engine note becomes harsh and also due to lack of liquid cooling system we need to take more breaks and let the engine cool .400-800cc is sweet spot for touring you can cruise at 120kmph all day and if I want to feel the adrenaline rush bike will be ready for that. If we are fit we can handle the weight of our bike .Bikes like tiger 800 are capable off roaders they will definitely perform better than a 150cc bike .just my two cents ! no offense to anyone 😊

    • @adriftatlife
      @adriftatlife 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      True I couldn't do Bangalore Chennai in my 125cc back breaking and a** destroying.
      My interceptor with modified seat I was able to go to Goa in a day at 80 to 100 enjoying the ride.

    • @adriftatlife
      @adriftatlife 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Travelling Hearts I've traveled long distance too man, your opinion is yours just don't preach it as fact.
      A screaming engine cruising at 100 and a relaxed engine at 100 are two different things. And expensive bikes do come with very good suspension which compared to a mass market suspension are leagues ahead. Which translates to better comfort.
      You should see how a 1200gs is being handled with full on luggage off road. So the weight does not matter, it's your skill.
      250 cc bikes are sufficient for touring Yes they can travel day in day out without with minimal or no breakdown but it's a huge compromise on the comfort.
      Itchy boots moto vlogger is traveling on a Himalayan around the world on a 400 cc. To each his own.
      Its about what you are willing to compromise and what you're not.
      But you definitely enjoy the ride more on a better motorcycle.

    • @torukbelvedre1869
      @torukbelvedre1869 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      150cc segment like in the video he said, the most benefit is the cost. Its true we have to sacrifice comfort for cost, but its upto the individual to find their own balance and choose the ride. Personally my dad owned unicorn 150, and i rode it a lot but it struggles on the highways, gives you numbness in the ass, felt tiring and i have to take breaks every 70km or less depending upon the conditions of the road. But still even with these setbacks we enjoyed the rides a lot and has plenty of money left with me to enjoy even more.

    Awesome video bro, you spoke my mind. Even my friends and family used to recommend me a higher CC bike like Royal Enfield and Dominor for touring, but I went for a Gixxer 155 and I never felt the need for a higher CC bike. Very thoughtful points. Helpful for anyone in making purchase decision. As you said for Indian highways doesn't make sense riding in speeds in excess of 100kmph even if it happens to be 6 lane or 4 lane highway. I have a ninja 650 and recently met with accident near Dindugal while riding from Bangalore to native place. I was cruising at around 90 when suddenly an old lady crossed the road suddenly. She tried to run quickly without seeing me. To avoid her I slammed the breaks and fell down. She was unconsious and I sustained bruises (thanks to good riding jacket and pants). Local people put us in an ambulance and took us to hospital. Thankfully some people witnessed the accident and understood that it was the lady's mistake and hence I was not targetted. Luckily her injuries were superficial and ended up with total 50000 Rs expense. Now my Ninja is in the workshop and awaiting estimates by mechanic. One lesson I learnt from this is that ABS is very much needed (Mine doesnt have). No point in having powerful bike in indian roads.

    There is an important factor - gear ratio . Duke and dominor is high cc, so the gear ratios are spread to accomodate the speed and torque. With lower cc, you have the ability to run at 5 km per hour in first gear while you can't do the same on a single cylinder big bores.
    Try a parallel twin or an inline 4 in the same place. They will do better that a lower cc.

      500+kms in single stretch at average of 80kmph.
      Its wonderful to ride at 80kmph and its safe speed in India on any two wheeler. Because Indian roads are filled with cows, buffaloes and offcourse human idiots who come in the middle of nowhere.
      I bet that one cannot enjoy the view, scenery and the feel relaxedly, and the feel of touring once you cross 85kmph.
      Once you cross 90kmph all your senses should be on bikes brakes, clutch, accelerator and steering which defeats the purpose of touring.

    Low CC bike advantages :
    1) Low running cost.
    2) Easy to handle.
    3) Easy to repair almost everywhere
    4) Cheap to buy and maintain.
    5) Generally great rider and pillion comfort.
    Low CC bike disadvantages :
    1) Struggles on ghats.
    2) High RPM while crusing on highway.
    3) Overheats quickly due to lack of radiator.
    4) Relatively lower quality parts like lights, horn, drum/non abs brakes, air/oil cooling, cradle/diamond frame, no usb charger.

We heard lot of things like why you people taking these bikes for long drives. With the same point of your opinions we added to tell we earned it by ourselves and we have capacity to enjoy it. It cannot be compared with RE but we can do whatever RE can. Nowadays we like the look changed because riders like you support low cc bikes so people accept them and change them views as ok middle class people also have dreams and funs they are also capable persons to achieve everything. I also like to buy High cc and super bikes but I can't forget the memories which my bike gave. Bike matters, but rider decides

    Liked your very sensible advice to anyone who wants to begin touring as a beginner. I completely endorse your view on kerb weight. Unfortunately many high priced bikes are purchased at high cost and they are unwieldy and difficult to manouvere on our Indian roads. Hornet and generally Honda scores with high HP to weight ratio. Indian men are generally small made, shorter than Caucasian counterparts.
