Hi I really enjoy watching you and you have such a sweet way in your lessons of what's good and not so much keeping it real hope you have a great year and I'll continue to watch you
Hi Dr. Lori! Ty for the video! I need more of them so I'm going to have to binge watch 😂. It's good to do though because nobody could possibly remember everything you teach us! Have a great day 🤗
New camera? EXCELLENT quality video, especially of close ups. Fantastic video! Everyone learns from these and it's fun to play guess the price before you reveal it to us. Thank you.
I am so entertained by your commentary. I love the Goodwill. I am always amazed at what you can find there. It is fun and very affordable. I have also learned a lot from your knowledgeable opinions.
Dr Lori!! I am a new subscriber and I love you!! I have binged and binged to the point I have to wear headphones because my boyfriend hates hearing it lol. I have collected so so much glass and my boyfriend made me pack it all up and I haven’t been out shopping in a thrift store for a long while. I have so much worth so much that I hate hiding it. Would love to sell it but I am disabled at 55 and now my bf has had two strokes at the age of 55 and he is really mean about it. I would unpack my stuff if I could and make an appointment with you. You are tremendous and I know everyone here appreciates you and all you do. Sending love from Washington state.
Thanks to Dr. Lori for educating us for free on great thrift finds ❤ Just got a Royal Albert teapot for $3.99 yesterday and a brand new Le Creuset stove tea kettle for 7.99 at the Goodwill yesterday. Love good thrift days!!
Sending love from Inner Mountain West...wanting to be in more populated areas with more thrift stores but I can still get car tuned and new tires soon and go out on good days to a few close towns and watch for estate sales etc. Thanks for taking us...I love all of your TH-cams but sespecially shopping with you. I love learning!!
Love your videos! Way back when I first started thrifting, I thought the crazing was desirable and added value because it proved it was old. 😂 I know, I know I have learned better since then and I’m so glad to see Dr. Lori validates this for me!
Thanks again for the great information! I do like the crackled look for my own stuff, but I usually don't put a lot of it in my booth. I have 1 piece there lol. And I was torn between keeping for myself or trying to sell it lol. I still may just bring it home 😊
Dr. Lori, I see the prices & they are fabulous finds! I live in Sierra Vista, AZ & our prices have gone from dollar two dollar even five dollar stuff & we are paying 4-6x what thrift stores in Tucson are charging. Hmmmmmmmmmmm!!! Things are definitely getting super pricey!!! I love your content! It is what it is!!! ✌🏻
I love your videos on china and jewelry the most. Thank you for these. I know that you love blue dishes. I do too. One time l was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time to find my blue. Instead of Royal Doulton l found Doulton 2004 the stamp says. Set of six place settings that each have five pieces. Wide band of duck egg blue outlined with a thin gold bands, white center of plate. My thoughts were when l found this set, that perhaps this was made for everyday use. I love them! And that is how l use them! Is that what you think Dr. Lori ? That this was an everyday set made by same company? I tried to research at time of purchase about 5-6 years ago. Maybe l should try to research again tonight! Ha! Keep Smiling! Happy Sunday! ☺️✌️❤️🦋🙏
Have you watched my videos that talk about reselling? Read my articles on my website about this? I also offer classes on reselling. See my website for details and the next class date which is next week :)
I hate to say i found a limouge punchbowl. Very beautful large awesome shape. Bought it for a steal. Broke even. I live in oregon and people are broke. Im not shipping stuff. Here in oregon its nice to see good stuff but people cant pay their rents.
Goood evening Dr Lori ... I am keeping up with your informative videos, THANK YOU ! One question regarding the oval lampshades with the beads priced at $3: what is each worth, asking because I have a few like these I plan to put into my booth.
I help many resellers identify and price their inventory so they don't sell too low. Many factors affect value, so I'll need to see your pieces. See my website for the ways that you can show me pieces.
I am certain you have been asked this multiple times, but... where would you sell these items to get the prices you quote? Everywhere I try to sell things (generally items I own), people want everything for 25 cents (just kidding...not entirely).
Have you watched my videos where I talk about reselling? Have you read my articles on my website? Have you watched my Reels on social media where I share the success stories of others? I also offer classes on reselling.
How Much Of The OLD Big Name Dinnerware Is Microwavable ?? That’s The #1 Question I Ask Myself When I Come Across Any OLD Dinnerware Because It Does NOT Say “Microwaveable”.
My Mom and her sister would haunt the flea markets during the 70s, and taught me how to choose. We bought for our own use, not reselling, but my items always go fast at any yard sales I have. All your comments are spot on! My Aunt warned me about old teapots. She said some sellers will take an old crazed pot and simmer it in a pot of milk to hide the cracks, so they could up the price.
Have you watched my videos that talk about reselling? I also offer classes on reselling. See the list of upcoming class dates on my website under 'Events'.
My values are based on what people really pay. Actual sales. Believe what you want. I do offer classes on reselling if you need help. I have countless examples that I have shared on social media where my clients are getting my appraisal values :)

It's only worth what someone is willing to pay. The new generation is going the opposite way when it comes to dishes, glasses, home decor. To them it's clutter. They would rather spend their money on experiences or clothes & makeup & food.

I literally laughed out loud when she said that! 😂
Enjoyed this Dr. Lori. Thank you

Good question to ask during my next Ask Dr. Lori LIVE video so I can answer in detail and teach everyone watching. Check my website for the next date.
I’ve always heard that glassware, antiques, etc. are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them, glassware isn’t selling worth a hoot nowadays
