A city in nature--that's an incredible feat! High population density and a high standard of living often do not go together, and Singapore is an exception.

14:52 The reason why a lot of buildings in that part of the city looks like London or old buildings in UK, and appears to be heavily British influenced, it’s because, as you have correctly pointed out, they were built by the British when Singapore was a colony! 😂

I dont see any "British" influence - when you go to UK you will see all the suburbs and small small building and not tall skyscraper.

the British influence isn't just in 'that part of town' but it's everywhere you see. Singapore was a British colony for over a century, so their mark is indented on many things, the brilliant laws, way of life, English speaking, etc distinguishing itself from the rest of Asia early on and allowing it to connect to the western world decades ago yet still retaining the Asian heart... leading to the success and everythign u see

Those shophouses you see cost 12-104 million dollars, and why not go heartlands and see how poor SG people really are? Try exploring the flats beside Chinatown for a start, you will puke

Singapore looks like a third-world dump.. Come to Los Angeles, we are world-class city. Everything. You would ever want is right here. We are no.1.

You’re weird asf. Shut up with your xenophobic nonsense. “Third class dump”. Spoken like a person that refuses to leave they country and explore the rest of the world
