it really does depend on who's taking it, if you've any inflammation and finally the swab itself, in my country getting swabbed at private facilities is much more comfortable and painless because of the swabs they use, they are extremely thin and make it to the nasopharynx easily. I work at a public hospital, so the swabs aren't as nice and are a bit wider, hurt more than the others.
I don't believe asymptomatic people are spreaders, I don't think this thing is highly infectious. They say it is. They say it can remain on surfaces for up to 72 hrs, they say it's transmissible from human to human, and that people must stand 2 metres or more apart. If I cough on someone, spit on someone, phlegm on someone, sneeze on someone, or kiss someone...I can pass the virus on. What I don't get is why we have two nasal swabs stuck up our nostrils hitting the Cribriform plate, making your eyes water. Then a throat swab, which makes you gag, and this is all to get a sample specimen for the PCR test. Now if it is so highly contagious from human to human, we should be able to cough up some phlegm into a Petrie dish, and that sample should be ample for swabbing and testing. The fact they have to perform such an invasive procedure to extract the specimen, tells me this virus isn't highly contagious at all. Children are not spreaders, asymptomatic people are not spreaders. The PCR test is pointless, all a PCR test does is tell you whether you have a bit of the RNA virus within you, but it doesn't tell you if you are currently infected, doesn't tell you whether the virus particle is alive or not, and it doesn't tell you whether you are still infectious or not. We should only use hospitalisations and deaths has true measurements. And even the hospitalisations and deaths must be monitored closely because they have been falsifying death certificates.
If somebody wonders: the nasal PCR test feels like when water goes into your nose. The only difference is that you can’t get it out cause somebody is pushing it further down, and you are not “allowed” to cough, sneeze etc. So it feels like water that you can’t get out of your nose.

Jes McKenzie the swab doesn’t actually go “up” the nose, it goes towards the back of the throat where the majority of live virus is likely to be found. Which in turn makes it the most accurate way to test. This test is also a fairly common way to test to test for influenza, RSV and other respiratory viruses. Just because you haven’t seen it before now does not make it “suspect” If you don’t understand medicine/science, don’t pretend to act like you do.

Jes McKenzie Listen. There is a HUGE difference in the amount of a sample needed to be analyzed in a lab and the amount of virus which needs to be transmitted to another person to infect someone with a virus. You CLEARLY don’t understand that. This method IS and HAS BEEN a preferred method for testing for respiratory viruses for a long time. You may not like the look of it, but as I have said before it’s been used to test for influenza, RSV, SARS, MERS and now SARS-CoV-2. There ARE other tests available but they are much LESS sensitive. Saliva IS another method which is being explored but the jury is still out on that one. Studies are ongoing concerning this. The only thing which is suspect here is your understanding of science. SO they added 10 clean swabs and the results came back 100% positive. I also have a video statement on my channel from a Pa. Rep. who is investigating fake covid results.
Perfect collection procedure! Thanks for not hanging out in there :)
Getting it done in a few days and I'm nervous .....
Don't it's not as bad as people make it if your healthy then your good my mom's step brother had it and his wife,4 sets of young twins like 10/7/3/3 that's how young they where are the recoverd fine
Did the test today and didn't feel nothing, I think I was very calm
This actually really hurt 😭😭😭
It felt so sharp
Did you have this done for any reason other than curiosity? Just curious😊
I got one today but didn't get hurt. It was uncomfortable though 🤧
It's seriously not as bad as some of the comments make it out to be... I've just had a nasal swab a few minutes ago with my head tilted backwards. A mild discomfort for a few seconds is all I felt, but nothing serious at all.
You didn't get this nasopharygneal test, you got a nasal test which is different. Nasal test is 2 cm only, nasopharygeal is 7cm and requires an aesthetic for most as its too painful without.
Why can't they do a mouth swab or a sample of your snot? Why does it have to be this way??? This method is scaring people who actually want to get tested.
I did it today most unhorrid experience ever due to uncomfortable and almost feel tingly sensation etc. It painless but dayumm lol and the reason why because flu origin from within your nose and not mouth/cough. Virus start from nose then later I think that the reasons why they do swab test on noise etc.
@@TheDragonshadow1231 but during h1n1 back in 2009, they did mouth swab.
H1n1 is also similar to the flu. While the Corona's source traced from the bats(supposedly) the h1n1 traced from the pigs. So I don't really see the point of shoving a swab down the throat. They can just swab the mouth.
I'm also a microbiology student....We all prefer this testing method for our reference..
Than your a psychopath !
@@Mollygaga42 i dont think you got what the person said.
Why?
They dip it in this solution and swab both nostrils. Lemme tell y'all that shit BURNED. Felt like my nose was on fire for a minute. It's a quick swab though the burning sensation isn't however.
Today i was tested positive. This process really hurts like hell
@Katlyn's Krafts he died man he’s my cousin and he’s deas
@Katlyn's Krafts dead
Sir thanks for the video and all the greaaaaaat info but stop eating cookies while explaining the video
Just noticing my test was done wrong.... I was told to tilt and the swab went up...not stright... Omgggg
Me too i guess
They only touch my nose hairs.... I know even I had covid they can't even detect.... 😑
Where is that hole where they stick the swab. It seems it's right away at the nose and I can't feel that hole.
It's very uncomfortable. I have done covid today
So uncomfortable. Makes you wanna gag and sneeze at the same time.
I did test to today. Not so bad. I liked it.
I have to get it done for travel. The only problem is I have a deviated septum. Now the only thing that scares me is that it won't reach inside. I'm not afraid of something inserted in my nose, just a fear of the deviated septum blocking the swab and causing pain
It's that normal if ur swabtest cotton was have blood coming from ur nose
I just had a test and it was awful. My nose is still during snd I had the test 3 hours ago
This is sary. It's on the same level as death for me... Except we don't got a proper idea of death... But still.... It's scary
@Katlyn's Krafts wott.. Omg I'm 16 😂😂😂😭
Is this procedure the same as the PCR test?
I had it done and she BARELY entered my nostril. Clearly easier to get a false negative. Can’t trust anyone.
There are a few ways for the testing, when barely going in your nostril, that is a RAPID test, usually that test has results inn 15 min, the other tests take 5-7 days for results. NOT sure why CDC can't figure out to the same way for all. I work in a ER and have done theses tests three different ways and weekly we are told to stop one way and do it another. I feel your pain.
@Paul Hoye You obviously haven't been inside a ER and have seen this up close. You really think over 13 Million people are trying to pull the wool over your eyes?
@Paul Hoye I not authorized to explain to you, the real reason for this HOAX, but sooner or later we'll get find you.
@Paul Hoye So tell me why you think this is a scam?
Weird feeling , feels uncomfortable and hurts a bit. But remember it's all worth it at the end.
Yeah when the government takes away all of your freedoms so that you can feel safe. It will all be worth it in the end.
@@mediocrefloridaman if it's not the government it's the civilians.
Wild wild west
If it's not one thing it's the other. Can't blame the government for everything
Ima get tested in three days I told my mom I don’t want the nasal one and she said ok but then said we gonna get the nasal test on Saturday I am TERRIFIED...
I got tested today and it hurt lol
HOw did it go??
Do you get your results the same day?
Mandi C in my country you get it in 24 hours
I had mine done, but only one nostril was swabbed. Is that ok, or should it be both?
Yesterday I just had the swab test, and as you guys think, it hurt, it makes you cry little bit, and there's no other way
Fuck me I'm worried is it fast?
@@yobama9818 it's like 10 second but the whole 10 seconds is agony
I heard the swaps already have the covid 19
You idiot. No they don’t.
Lol.....they have more than that

I have to get this done for work. I had a throat test I volunteered for and it was awful. Is this just as bad or worse?
How to be one
It was terrible they literally poked my brain
They don't test like this anymore. It's just nasal swabs now.
Correct.
me watching this because walmart is making it employees do this to themselves: 👁👄👁
You just do nostril swabs now. This is the old test.
Very nice explanation ....
**nice video**
What kind of Fitbit was that
It hurt but it felt higher
Ain’t nothing to be scared of.
I feel pain watching this
It doesn’t go in that far also your not supposed to

Very good
Nice
I took this thing and I would rather get shot than take this again
Wtf at my work they always say tilt your head
Thanks
If it’s so contagious and can spread 6 feet with droplets, why do they have to test this way!!!??? Something’s up!!!
yeah.....its most definitely something up with that......looks like a microchip insertion
I agree. Unless they want to make people afraid of the test as well, add a bit more fear on top of fear? Otherwise I have no idea why something so incredibly contagious needs such an invasive test. If it spreads as easily as they keep telling us, then they can easily pick it up via less intrusive means.
@@randomnesspersonified exactly.......theres no need to test anyone in that fashioned, completely uncalled for and completely unnecessary. This right here is what made me not take this pandemic serious, because if they were serious about the pandemic they would have chose less invasive means to do so way before now.I say to anyone that choose to take this test any way and it still doesnt look right to you, then they would need deep divine spiritual discernment of the urgent kind.seriously
im getting tested today :O
Why do they think the most Exaggerated way is the most accurate way
Just done it today 😅
as to date I did 14th times already :-P
O no..
With due respect to you.. Just came back from routine RTPCR test at a centre, for travel purpose.. A open air collection centre under a tree.. We have a chair to sit.. We carry all the bottles and swab tools.. No gloves in our hand. Hand over to the paramedic staff in PPE dress.. Less than a minute the tests were over.. What happened is.. Nasal swab means.. Inside of nose passage.. And oesophagal swab means ..end of a tongue..I dont know whether this specimen is ok tobdetermine such a clever Virus.... I will be testing negative.. Will continue my outstation travel.. Knowing fully well that I am not sure whether I am really Negative or.. An asymptomatic carrier... Welcome to India.. Please don't believe any figures of any diseases in India
That asshole who did that didn't even tell me about the procedure. Just sat me down, raised my head and insert the damn thing. Falourmama! 🤬
Why the nose? Why can't it be just a regular swab test where you just collect the saliva? I have my test kit. I don't want some stick shoved up my nose. This is friggin' suspect.
It’s the most accurate test available. It’s also used for influenza and other respiratory viruses.
@@mellogo1d191 the most accurate my ass.......we are talking about a disease thats deemed highly contagious to the point where it can be spread by droplets from the mouth to the point where you have to wear a mask and distance apart from each other at 6ft.....trying to get a specimen(sample) from way up into somebodys nostril almost touching there brain stem area seems to me very inappropriate and suspect......but this disease is deemed contagious, remember the key word contagious.
Just because you haven’t seen it before now does not make it “suspect”
If you don’t understand medicine/science, don’t pretend to act like you do.
@@mellogo1d191 you must dont understand what highly infectious, highly transmissible, highly contagious means,it means you should be able to collect specimen(sample) from mouth cheek saliva where droplets are said to spread from 6ft apart and also its said to survive more than 6 hours on surface and door handles.im not dumfounded enough to know that science cant collect it by those means as well, correct me if im wrong....now im not the one who sold this disease to the world in that fashion, whomever sold the world that this disease is highly contagious need to retract there statements and also the majority of the disease is not located in the nasal cavity area its suppose to be in the lungs according to what they say.my overall conclusion the testing is still suspicious at best and needs to be watched and surveillance with a hawk eye.
Jes McKenzie
Listen.
I studied microbiology and I’m telling you the way it is. If you don’t like it, that’s up to you.
Owww
It goes deeper than a deep throat .wtf
