1st of all, Miele is pronounced Me-Lay.
I have minimal experience with the Wolf 30” built-in, our neighbors have one and we tried it a few times prior to choosing the Miele. FWIW, ours is the 7800 series 30 built-in that is plumbed, both water supply and drain line. I tried the Bosch at our appliance store, we also tried the Gagganau which we found quite good but its menus are much less intuitive than the Miele.
On the plus side, the Miele is super easy to use and maintain. It automatically backflushes the group head and tells you when to descale which is largely automated as well. It’s a super automatic just fill the hoppers with beans, there are 3 bins to choose preferred roast/origin. Select the drink from menu and you’re done. Then lone suggestion would be for it to be app controlled where I could select a drink when we wake up and I’d have my crema ready to consume as soon as I walk into kitchen.
Like anything in life there are trade offs. We have a ECM espresso machine and Kafatek grinder at our vacation home. It’s certainly capable of making better espresso and cappuccino but the time and effort required is much greater. At our primary home I want really good coffee but I want it without a lot of effort and in as little personal time as possible. The Miele delivers very good coffee under that criteria. It’s very pricey but also very versatile machine.

Thanks for the insights! Like you say, there are definitely trade-offs with most coffee machines. In my opinion, Miele are one of the market leaders for luxury home coffee machines. If you're planning to keep the same coffee machine for years - and use it regularly - then It can be worth spending extra on a machine that offers more convenience without any detriment to the quality of the coffee. Sure, you can get cheap machines that make coffee quickly, but the end product is often lacking,
