Historically, TLS was just the standardized version of SSL, because SSL was not standardized by netscape

My pleasure, and thanks for the comment. I find that most people/organizations that use it interchangeably are the ones with 20+ years in the industry. Old habits tend to die hard, but the version is very important when it comes to security!
