Because of the Boor being so low for a "offraod" car, it slows down when going through bushes There is a spot next to Mnt Chilliad where you can jump into a bush with the boor, and fall slow motion
Hella, bushes slow down cars depending on how light they are, the boor is super light and slows down a lot, but for example some big trucks like caracara 4x4 don't slow down. Also depending on how you pass a bush it may make you turn. Example: you pass through the bush just with the left side of your car and the car is gonna turn that way, same with right side, if you pass it through the center it will just slow you down (none of this does apply to heavy cars like insurgent and a big etc of heavy cars and trucks)
There's a really fun trail on the peak to the right of the big tunnel near Grapeseed. It goes up that mountain and has a beautiful small lake at the top and a great view of the ocean.
Love those trails mount chili and the other mountain where there is 2 bodies of water heading towards the lighthouse that road is actually less popular but beautiful to off road in
I swear, when I was in high school, before drip feed and all the extra content was added, me and my friends would get online and just go to mt chiliad and the bottom lands beside fort zancudo
I found that the Boor struggles on the upslopes as the AWD slips, as long as you have built up enough speed its ok, but going slow is a recipe for disaster.
this is a fun way to explore the trails of the map, i do it with the rally cars (ie calico, sultan classic, gb200) fully upgraded (except for the suspension) then add drift tires and just drive on the dirt road beside zancudo river as fast as i can. edit: spelling

The car is going slow because GTA is trying to simulate the oxygen density at higher altitudes because the higher you go the less oxygen it is in the slower your car goes because of combustion
