The LSE is a big step up - safety features (blind spot, AEB, front & rear cross traffic alert), driver aids (lane keep, lane centering, traffic sign) , larger infotainment screen, leather upholstered dash, 3.5 tonne break towing capacity and even auto folding mirrors are missing from the X-rider
Though the LSE 3.0l does not have the intelligent driver assist, it still beats the X-Rider in all ways possible. I have driven both and I think the 3.0 wins over the 1.9 X-Rider.
Great content! I truly enjoyed your review. However, I think it would be even better if you included comparisons with the vehicle’s rivals. This would provide a broader perspective and help viewers make more informed decisions. Keep up the excellent work! 👍
Well packaged, and well priced too. I wouldn't mind if they extend the 3.0 motor to the X-rider range, not that there is anything wrong with the 1.9 unit. Toyota now has the Hilux X-raider which comes with the 2.4 GD6 motor which I think is the direct competitor to this Isuzu X-rider. Overally, I think the Isuzu nailed it better and that would be my pick. As the channel grows, we hope to see varied content such as head to head comparison of the Hilux X-raider vs Isuzu X-rider, it would be interesting to see a review of the two under one video. Well done Kumbi for the lauch review!!
You read my mind my good Sir. But it has 360nm even if the kw are a bit minimalist at 110. This one is more of a lifestyle fit and it’s definitely what I’d get over other brands because Isuzu engines are bullet proof. It’s a beautiful bakkie 👌🏾
Thanks for the quick review Kumbi. I have a big problem for people who can't pronounce the name Isuzu and they call it I-suzu. Why? This name called I-suzu not I-suzu :) Same applies with Iveco and you will hear people calling it I-veco, ther'es no such thing, the name is Iveco.

That's why there's a big price difference between the LSE and X-Rider. In terms of looks and value for money, the X-Rider wins.
I'm obsessed with the cosmetics of this bakkie. This grey is sick!
How's the sound system? Decent bass and trebble balanced sound?

I like the idea of a 1.9 for fuel economy but I wonder if I want 3.0 for over taking?
If you move in the mountains of Lesotho or EC or KZN on several times, you will most definitely wish you had the 3.0.
That 3L grunt is worth it
True.
The X/Rider is nippy though. I have a 3.0, but going for the X-Rider for economy.

Isuzu X-Rider is far better compared to Toyota Raider X.
👌🏾👌🏾
Tell me more about that 1.9 engine. Is it not sluggish when driving up hill? I need more info because I want to buy a double cab.
It’s perfect. Doesn’t feel underpowered at all

Americans call it I-zuzu
Get the LSE, there's a huge difference in quality
This is based on the LSE, so quality is literally the same.
This bakkie looks good. It really is a value for money. I will sell, I have no doubt
👌🏾
