Henry Selick's 2009 family/fantasy film Coraline. Starring: Dakota Fanning, Teri Hatcher, Jennifer Saunders, Dawn French, John Hodgman, Ian McShane & Keith David
I loved this movie mostly because it was so symbolic. And that made it really creepy - especially the part where the father says "Wybie pulled a long face, and mother didn't like it." Horror movie fans will get more impressed every second c:
I loved this movie when i was a kid, still do. It appealed to me like adult horror films appeal to adults. I wouldn't call it horror though, just extremely creepy. Also the soundtrack was one of my favorites
When the film first came out, I just assumed it was a Tim Burton film because of the look. I found the film fascinating and creepy at the same time. It was half fantasy, half nightmare.
This film creeped me out as a kid. I don't think it's appropriate for young kids. I probably won't show it to my kids, at least not before they would be 12 or 13.

+Doris McBride I agree, very creepy and great soundtrack, I love this film and it will age very well with audiences of all ages!
I enjoyed this movie, my 6 year old daughter... not so much - she wouldn't let me out of her sight for months in fear of meeting her "other mother"
ha yea it was a great film but pretty scary especially for younger kids
