    This is a very interesting way to learn how to communicate better with everyone around you, especially family members. Some people tend to get offended very easily, and by switching you statements to I statements will most likely make the sentences less offensive to others.

      Ah - thank you... and thank you for sharing your thoughts. You're spot on - I statements are much less likely to cause offense or land like an accusation.

      hmmm - I get the I statements PDF when I fill in the form that says 'I statements', when I fill in the form that is about the house meeting, I get the house meeting pdf. Which form are you filling in?

    I had a girl use I statements on me and my response was "ok? Whats your point" she flipped out lol. I think i statements are useless. Just because you say it in a different way doesn't make me change my mind
