It's a spoon rest. You stir your pot and put the dirty spoon on the rest so your stove or countertop doesn't get stained

I would use that spoon either hung on the kitchen wall as decoration or as one of those spoon holders you put by the stove to hold your cooking utensil when you’re not using it so you don’t get like sauce everywhere :)

Everything was so pretty! You should vlog in the thrift stores while you shop because it sounds like England’s thrift stores are much nicer than the USA’s. I’d like to know how they look. The ones I’ve been in here in the USA are kind of dirty and disorganized. 🙁

Honestly they're not any better in the U.K. l've watched lots of thift store videos from the US and they're pretty much the same as our charity shops. Never any sales on certain coloured tickets like some of yours either. I've never been able to find the kind of pretty treasure shown in these videos. It's not fair is!! 🤗💞
I think it can depend on where you live in the UK. My local ones are lovely, they’re set out just like any other store and are beautifully neat, clean and tidy. From the outside only the name gives away the fact that it’s a charity shop. The last town I lived in a few years ago was the same, and that was in a different county.
I thrift a lot in the US and almost all are dirty and disorganized, you just have to get used to the gritty/grimy feeling so it doesn't bother you and be willing to dig, sometimes literally, past the 90-95% which is tacky or old or not your aesthetic to find that little percentage of stuff there you can use. If you're the handy-dandy type like me, you get a larger percentage of possibilities for also being able to upcycle or makeover otherwise undesirable objects. :)

Really nice pieces!!!! maybe my favourite are those pillows...you are definitely gonna use them even if they are six. The ceramic spoon is meant to stay next to the cooking area and when you prepare a sauce for example, you let your wooden spoon lying there when "you don't swirl" so you don't make all your kitchen dirty
You found some great things! That item is a spoon rest. You put it on or near your stove when you are cooking and have to occasionally stir something or whatever and need a place to set the utensil that you are using so you're not messing up your stovetop.
That big spoon can be put next to your stove to hold cooking utensils that you are using. It’s really helpful cuz the utensil might be used to stir occasionally, but it doesn’t need to be in the pot the entire time, so you can set your utensil on the spoon for the time being :)
The teal blue colored spoon with texture is used to hold the cooking spoon, like if your making spaghetti or soup. You could sand the old frame of the watercolor painting and stain it, or you could just spray paint it to fit your guest bedroom style.
The giant spoon is to put on your stove or counter in your kitchen and when you're cooking and stirring things you can put whatever you are stirring with on the giant spoon instead of your counter or leaving it in the pot or pan. I love mine and use it constantly. the one you got is so beautiful i'd hang it up in my kitchen and use it as art! Love your videos btw and hope this helps!
Love the thrift store..friends and family don't understand the obsession. It's amazing how many nice and sometimes even new items you can walk out with for very little money. Keep the videos coming, house ones are amazing too btw! Can't even imagine how you're getting so many major projects done and managing to film at the same time! Great job 💗

I love thrifting homeware! The spoon rest would be cute on a windowsill or by the sink to keep jewellery in. I don't know about you but used to leave my rings on the side when busy in the kitchen. I use a mini teacup to keep mine so there are no lost pieces.

The giant spoon is a spoon rest. You use it when you’re cooking so that your spoon doesn’t get your work surface mucky and you don’t have to leave it in the pan either. I’d give my right arm... ok probably not any body part, but I’ve wanted a spoon rest for ages and that one’s really pretty. Fun fact as well: the wicker basket originally had a set of round table mats in it. I know this because we had a set with the exact same basket when I was a teenager.
Who doesn’t need some retail therapy every now and then? The big spoon is a spoon rest. So when you’re cooking and are stirring something occasionally- you rest your spoon or ladle etc on the spoon rest so your counters don’t get messy. :)

My family uses a big spoon like that for tea bags, and for labels when cooking so you don't get your counter top dirty; it cathces the drips from the utensil, and it's very helpful! Love you videos! You aesthetic is perfect😍

The big blue spoon, you could use as a spoon rest, so when you are making food and need to take the stirring spoon out of the pot and don't want to put it on the work top, you can lay in on the blue spoon.

You can put dirty spoons etc. on the big spoon when you are cooking, so the counter doesnt get dirty.
That spoon thing is called a trivet and you use it to hold your cooking utensils that are dirty from stirring, e.g. the sauce stirrer when making spaghetti would go on that.

The big spoon is for holding utensils while you are cooking, so you don't have to lay them on the counter/stove a make a mess.
In the US we call those Spoon Rests. You set your spoon, forks, spatulas, or whatever on them to keep your stove clean while cooking. But you can always just hang it up for decor. It is super cute. I have some and don’t tend to use them because I find it actually easier to just put my utensils on a clean stove and wipe it up after.

Usually those spoons are used for holding spoons on the stove but because on the string attached to it it may be just a decor piece you hang on the wall

I believe the spoon is for putting your dirty stiring spoons in, like when you're cooking sauce and put the spoon down on the counter and get sauce all over your counter. if you put it down on the spoon instead you'll save your counters!

For the spoon, in India, you usually store spices like cloves, and cardamom and then cover it with cling film for decoration. Or you could keep it plain and hang it somewhere for decoration.

We use a spoon just like that one to rest dirty cutlery on when we cook. Like you stir a pot of sauce and you rest the spatula on that spoon to catch the drips instead of on the counter.
