Firefighter Burned in Flashover Inside Hollywood House Fire, 2 Residents Seriously Injured

- HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES, Jan. 17 (KNN) - Two people were seriously injured in a greater alarm Hollywood house fire overnight and a firefighter was burned when a flashover occurred.
Los Angeles Fire Department crews were dispatched at 3 a.m. to reported smoke in the area of the 1300 block of North Cherokee Avenue where firefighters found a one-story single-family home with fire showing.
While attacking the flames, firefighters found two people trapped behind a security gate inside the structure, reported the LAFD. Forcible entry tools were used to access the area to rescue two adult males who were both transported to a local hospital.
