Seeing Bucky cry like that breaks me-- he went through _so_ *much* . So many horrible things that he was made to do, tortured and brainwashed ... and then seeing him finally _finally_ getting his mind back and the clear relief on his face... man, and Sebastian's acting just killed it in the moment.

@@Lovemetender757 Hmm. Think it's a matter of perspective. Wanda backstory is mostly about love and loss. While Bucky's is about mostly about blood and guilt. I tend to side with Wanda's being the worst, but it's mainly because of all the people that Bucky killed..they weren't his loved ones. Wanda killed the person that she loved most in the world. Then have that end in abject failure and have to watch him resurrected and die again. Then yet again along with her children. Wanda keeps losing the people she loves. Not to say Bucky's life has been a picnic either. He's been mentally eviscerated. I'm just saying I'd rather have the blood of strangers on my hands than my loved ones. All and all I'm glad not to have either of their lives.
@@djsosonut i would say stop comparing but someone brought this topic anyway lol, yes ure right abt what wanda has is mostly loss and bucky is mostly guilt, but wanda doesnt have any guilt for killing the loves one cause she knows what she is doing, on the other side, bucky doesnt even know what he is doing, he is even sorta admire howard before ofc he killed him, and then he actually has feeling of loss as well, about his family, his friend, his life before, and dont forget about steve. im just saying that bucky here is more complicated than what wanda has, they both feel the pain and frustration and anger, but guilt on bucky is just too damn big, its not abt killing strangers or killing the loves one
@@amaliavia649 So you stance is that Wanda feels no guilt because she knew what she was doing? So you don't think she felt any guilt or sadness for killing Vision? Or for being the trigger for Tony building Ultron and leading to her brothers death. If you want to go with the lack of agency, then by that rational she would probably feel more guilt for the people of Westview that she took over accidentally.
It's a moot point really. It comes more down to what you identify with more. I'd be more wrecked if knowing killed a loved one than if I was manipulated into killing multiple strangers. One I could protect my psyche by understanding that it was never my choice, I was a tool. The other would be fully me as I snuffed the life out of someone I love. That would break me. Still. You're initial statement was right. There is really no need to compare. They're both had it rough.
@@djsosonut ops sorry i think i say couples wrong sentence, no no wanda has guilt but not as big as bucky, when she killed vision, she knows the situation, she knows that even when she kills the loves one, its for the sake of goodness, you know, theyre talking about 'million' ppl will gone, so it's different, yes she might have guilt about the ppl of the westview, but as far as i know, she doesnt kill anyone, and we dont see how much guilt she has about that yet, again, i dont think its JUST about killing the loves one or not, they had a very different situations, and me personally think that bucky is more complicated about it, there's alot of going on with that more that isnt clear yet even after like 60(?) years hohoho

Fuck... This video hit me hard.. The first video to make me cry cuz I can relate to bucky in a way
His story is so sad and unfair. What breaks my heart the most is realizing the whole series, how not only him, but other people as well, like for example: John Walker, his therapist and even Zemo, DO NOT treat him like a victim. HYDRA has thousands of victims, but people seem to forget that Bucky wasn't a person for them, he was a slave, a weapon and being away from HYDRA doesn't make him free. His traumas are still there.
