Awesome guys! So "Zen" appearing. Love the wood slat wall! I can undersrand why you used AstroTurf. I, myself......wooden deck...lol. But the "green" makes it more "comforting". Love it! Btw.....ignore complainers. The music made it funny, while watching you guys speed around....very appropriate song, for what you were doing...lol.
Town house where the front door probably opens straight onto the footpath, no front yard. A few square meters of back yard, no garden shed, only access from through the house. Enough room under the bathroom sink for a trowel, pair of secateurs and gloves... forget about pitch fork, spade, weed eater and lawnmower... the hall cupboard is not designed for that. They want a place where they can relax, take sun and fresh air, entertain, minimal maintenance, but still have some flowers, butterflies and bees. Given the constraints, it's a job well done. It's attractive and private, even though the roses grow beside fake grass. It's not bad. I couldn't live with it, I need my gardens, I need to grow my own food... but I wouldn't have bought it in the first place.
They lost at least 6 inches on each side of a very small garden by putting that fence up. Why didnt they just paint the walls a light colour? It would have made the space look much bigger...
paintedlady55 Not to mention the cost of all that fence material! I agree they could've painted the dark wall a lighter colour but then maybe fixed up some wires etc to grow climbers up. I thought that was a waste of money and the garden looks too "manufactured" at the end.
@@AndyM_323YYY I agree, I would rather have brought in decking or flagstone if real grass weren't possible. Its probably done because of convenience or necessity, i.e.; unable to get a lawnmower into the area or pets that need more than just concrete/flagstones/decking. But even then, I'd look at getting a manual mower that doesn't take up a lot of space.
