After seeing this, and hearing these cars, I'm more than ready to go to the track! On a race weekend it's actually nice if it rains one of the days because it's fascinating to watch the drivers work the cars in the wet. Thanks for the little "Taste". :)

yellow Nissan GTP is outright record holder on original Le Mans piste - so faster than the Peugot, the Renault, the 962, 956, the 917K, the group C Mercedes - wonder how close the Lancia GTP ever got with the full Mulsanne en route?

When my mom had cancer and we went to see them the team owners let my mom sit in the tent and listen to everything on closed closed circuit TV and let them listen to everything that was going on with his team. I I'm a huge fan because of that my mom had the best time and the entire team got to meet her and they sat down and talked to her. I will never forget that they were so very kind. I have been a fan of Aston Martin racing sense. So can you put more Aston Martin in the next one please thank you. Thanks for showing the Bentley my dad just bought one that's cool. @19Bozzy92 Bozzy I was bemoaning the lack of AMG engine note, and then arrived, unadvertised, the Chevy Intrepid GTP - ha! Seems Aston has also lost tone via Benz motor. GT3 cars IMO are too heavy, have too little tire, should be more near silhouette a la GTE in ACO (which I suppose is doomed). In ADAC performance is balanced backward, to stop win streaks, rather than speed up the field behind. Just like in sad old NASCAR the street version cars make more BHP than the GT3 race versions - and have more rubber besides. Wrong, say I. Your thoughts. signor? Como pensare?
The GT3 cars are like GTE already, Aston and Ferrari uses the same chassis in GT3 and GTE cars. It takes only a few hours to convert either of those from GT3 to GTE and other way. Also, the faster ones are usually nerfed, because it is easier to add weight to one car than bring up many slower cars. Agree the cars could have a little more power and less weight, but that could cause issues if GTE would have same treatment, as then fast GTEs would be too close to LMP2 in pace. And TBH the power/weight ratio they have now is probably pretty good for driving enjoyment, especially for amateur drivers. The advancement of turbo engines is overrated, a good NA engine can have similar fuel mileage while having less particle emissions. Also, some turbo cars may have relatively high fuel consumption. In GT3, one of the less thirsty cars are V10 Audis and Lambos and NA Flat 6 Porsches, while Turbocharged Macca and Acura/Honda are on the more thirsty side. The new Ford GT road car is very thirsty, even with relatively small 3.5 Twin turbo V6. On the other hand, Corvette C7 Z06 uses less fuel, while having a little more power (that is supercharged, but the race versions have pretty close fuel consumption as well, despite Ford being more aerodynamic). Aston Martin has the new turbo engine just because of the partnership with Mercedes, they are in fashion now for road car market and it fits in GTE rules well.

Anyone knows what the banging pop at the end of the gear shift is from? Is it excess air in the exhaust burnt, or unburnt fuel in the cylinder at the end of the gear before shifting?
Anyone know why water spray at the back of the race car all go into the center? Is it the tires or the rear diffuser that is causing that? It looks really cool
Sorry if this is a late reply, but if you are talking about the center of the car, and the water spray from that area, I am like 90% sure that is all down to the Diffuser.
Is it me or is the 488 starting to almost sound like a 4 cylinder since it’s gone with a blown motor nothing like the old 360, 430, 458 sounding flat plane v8’s of old ?? Long live the N/A V10 of the Lambo’s and R8 but I can see they will also be resigned to history soon 😥
