- This is a selection of some of the best Turbocharged Hillclimb Monsters from 2018 that we have featured on our Channel. Certainly many are missing but in the end a list featuring 700+Hp Lancia Deltas, 1000+Hp Nissan GT-Rs and Lancer Evos sporting more Aero than a Fighter Jet should make for some quality viewing and give a proper idea of how crazy things get in this Sport when Forced Induction is used...

The E30 2JZ is purely insane. The amount of skill you need to handle something like that, let alone in a hill climb.

yes the skyline did.... it was amazing. I think its cuz he had the exhaust pipes come out the side and it backfired right when he took off.

I like how he actually tried to hillclime with no big wing or any other parts that will increase downforce. But hey, he looked epic.

I so dearly wish hillclimb and rally races were more available here in the USA. I would love to see some awesome racing machines tear up some of these mountain roads. Awesome spectacle this is to watch. Got me as a subscriber to here, good stuff!
I find the lack of hillclimbs in the US to be odd seeing as you also have the largest (in terms of participants and coverage) and most known.

To be fair, that R35 had the right height set about 3/4" too low, and the suspension just a bit too stiff.

These "bespoke/one off" widebody kits made for these hillclimb cars have always looked so badass/nasty/aggressive/threatening and give actual aero performance. Its always been my favorite style on a car. Its been my dream to create a body kit business inspired by the square'ish/hard lined wideboddy looks of all these Hillclimb Monsters/90s DTM/TCR cars/Rally Cross Cars, etc). I think you get what I mean. I want to bring this style and aero performance to all sorts of cars (starting with just a few select cars at first just like Kei Miura did before he expanded) and just leave my little stamp on car culture with my visions that people could put on there cars proudly. i've been working hard and slowly saving for the equipment to hopefully make it possible. I know CAD, Solidworks, Fusion 360, 3DSMAX, Inventor, etc.) which are modelling softwares and have already taken 3D cars models and built kits inspired like these on the PC for Car Mods in Assetto Corsa and Renderings but the car models are not based off real world measurements nore do they have the modelled the spots where fenders, hood, skirts, bumpers, etc) would attach correctly if at all. I would need to source a 3D scanned car accurate to the sub mm precision and possibly all the pieces mentioned prior to work off of or purchase a scanned model and go from there. Then 3D Model a kit on it, then "Blank", and start making master molds but I cant share my secret :). I know people would love to make their street car or race car have a style like these and no one ever creates their own "bespoke/one off" body kit unless they've invested years into a passion project and hand made it, hired someone, work with a team. etc). I state enough how much I love wide body kits (The right type/style can make almost any car look good) especially this style. But, I'm not a fan of Kei Miura's Rocket Bunny/Pandem "Hotboy" style of widebody kits. There just not my thing, I think they look ugly most the time, but there's a few with his kits that look good, imo. I just want to bring this style to the masses and let the average car enthusiast be able to make his street car look like a different with this type of flare because no one is making kits like these and I know the people would love them. I know you all do! and I bet you would love to make your car look like one of these! Hopefully the car will have some performance to back up the look too you'll just ruin it like the days of 2000s body kits, reupholstered interiors, cut springs, and no performance. So look out for my kits in the next few years! I'll get there. The names Allan R.

My favorites are Van Zummeren's GTR R34 Skyline,Ratajczyk's Evo 5,Schagerl's Golf 2,BMW e30 2JZ and Schnellmann's Evo 8.Other cars are great too,but these are my favorite given the sound and how well they are driven.Another awesome compilation.

I love hill climb out of most driving shirts they so full send it and aren’t pushiest around corners(mainly because of the aero everywhere on it) but it is so fun to watch and honestly they don’t give a crap if they hit a wall head first they keep going

Is hill climb racing like 50% driver and 50% vehicle or is it really obvious when a car is setup perfectly or a really quick driver is behind the wheel? Just curious how the results level out.
Well is very difficult to say, the blue bmw e30 is a 1300HP 2jz monster, and the driver handle it like a God, that car with a lesser driver would be ended in a wall pretty fast.
But a little 6 or 7 hundred HP Clio with a ton of aero and good setup can probably catch him or even pass him if it is AWD.
My new years resolution is to learn how to identify the ever so confusing models of BMW, Ferrari and possibly even Porsche (I'm American)

I'd say from the 80's, until the mid 2000's it was easy. Now they all look sort of the same shapeless blobs like every other car on the road, some a little bigger than others. A 3 series look the same as a 5 series, just slightly different trim and a bit shorter.
