If I didnt know better when Doug had to redo that one tire he looked like he was pissed. Haha. Could be wrong but he looked pretty over it at that part of the video lol. Looks cool though. My 14” carnivores look wide but those look crazy.
He is usually the guy that is talking to the camera saying no big deal and finding the humor. That was a different vibe. Don’t get me wrong been there too many times lately, working on this thing. Feel for the guy haha.

Those are wide as hell!! I had a set of 35 x 15/50's on a Toyota before, so I know that must look awesome in person. Y'all should have put a bunch of self-tapping screws from the inside out like they do to those snow dragster tires and then he would have had awesome traction.. lol.
I would definitely use the trax!!!!! Hell yeah, the wide tires look awesome but no grip because they don’t bite!! If they were picked with nice aggressive spikes they would definitely rip it up!!!

Desert racers have run larger tire s on 7" wide rims for years. I believe the thought is the rim is protected from rocks by the side walls. Those don't look bad at all
Looks good. Just realized I have the GBC Mongrels on my Turbo S. I haven't disliked them but I haven't had anything else to compare them to. You guys have any plans to be in North Carolina?

@@ROTAXD ..All depends on how many that you would be putting in the tire ..And what kind of trail riding ..slow and a lot of turns or wide open trails ...Really all depends on what riding you do ...I always go with KK up hear in Alaska just because I can get them cheaper and put them on and off a lot easier than normal studs
Wider the tire the better they will do in the snow. Get yourselves some sprint car tires and put them on som 15" wide rims. I know sounds funny but it works really well!
Just FYI, if your going to go the light bar too, just get reg mirrors and then a spot light ...But if your not going to do a light bar they can be worth the money ...In my opinion I do a couple rigid D-SS-Series pods and then a spot light .. This will run you under 500$

I think you guys may need to rig up some handbrakes in the rigs like Ken Block's X3 so ya'll have more control with the sliding. The tires looked sweet.

Yeah we ran them at about 4psi, they're just more of a deep snow tire than an ice tire, lol
Heavydsparks has been running them for a couple winters, work great in deep snow.

Locking up the rear tires in 4wd locks up the fronts as well. There is no center differential.
