    No. 1 - agreed
    No. 2 - agreed
    No. 3 - that one’s on you
    No. 4 - that’s on you, it’s not a boat
    No. 5 - refer to no. 4
    No. 6 - nothing has changed since you bought it. Just don’t change it. Move on.
    No. 7 - agreed (2024 location has changed)
    Fair video

      Thanks for the comment. I always love when people tell me it's not a boat. While I agree with you that it's not a boat it is the most boat-like side-by-side of all time LOL. This thing loves water.

      As a temporary fix, I put Gorilla tape around the hook. It works great. No rattle. Great list of annoyances.

    • @dbs311
      @dbs311 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yup, 5/16's tubing on the catch (not hook) attached to the bed, with 2 zip ties to hold it on and the bed is rock solid.

    This guy didn't have really to much to complain about.. the rattle could be gone in 5 min with the adjustment, and the door was soooo easy to fix..

      My door adjustments are totally maxed out. I added the aftermarket door bushings and it helped a little bit but they still are flimsy crap

    The bed and the doors are adjustable, but sag comes from putting weight on the door. It's plastic, you're not supposed to use the door getting in and out of it. I make sure every new person knows and I watch everyone getting in and out. Usually I just show them the grab handle and they go that route from then on. My doors are perfect after four years of use. I only adjusted the rattle out when brand new, no more adjustments needed. Don't blame Honda for you using the door incorrectly.
    I adjusted the bed the same day as the doors. I close my bed it catches but the latch doesn't spring all the way in. I have to push the release handle down to fully engage the latch. No rattles and no sign of wear on the latches or bushings. one and only adjustment.
    You bent the side rail and call it annoying design, are you kidding?
    It's a machine, it's not perfect, but it's the best out there for what it's designed for.
    From the looks of how you use and abuse your machine, metal cage doors with metal hinges may be in order. They add a little weight but not to much. Might even consider replacing the bed with an aluminum flat bed. Looks like you're pretty rough on stuff.

  • @BoneStockOff-Road
    @BoneStockOff-Road 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Put the bed latch back it is adjustable the 2 loops on the bed are slotted. Also the door latches will come loose on the door side just tighten them back up

      @wildman2545 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah! Honda is really well built compared to Polaris crap. Reliable, quiet and the value stays up even years after you buy it. I’m wondering if you are not paid by a competitor to gives really bad examples……

    Number 3 is like saying you drove a car over the curb now the bumper is trashed and it's the vehicle manufacture's stupid design because its annoying you. 🤷‍♂🤷‍♂ that's a step not a rock slider. Thanks for the videos and keep coming with reviews and update, I do think Honda need to step up on fit and finish.

  • @bigseff23
    @bigseff23 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I had to wrap electric tape around the latch on the bed on my pioneer to cushion the noise. Honestly Honda isn't what it used to be. I sold my pioneer to get a Teryx4 and couldn't be happier. Fit and finish is much better

    • @MudPuppyOffroad
      @MudPuppyOffroad  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That was on board with you till you talked about a kawi. Get you a 2022 pioneer fit/finish is weak in some non-critical areas but the overall engineering is light years ahead of that thing that's for sure

    • @dbs311
      @dbs311 ปีที่แล้ว

      5/16's fuel or vacuum tubing with 2 zip ties and the bed makes ZERO noise after that, and latches tight. I have been chasing down squeaks, rattles, shimmies since day 1 and the 5/16's tubing saved me from ghosting this thing off a cliff.

    I have the 2021 Pioneer 3 Deluxe. Good running machine but Honda needs to step up fit and finish. I bought it for the transmission and reliability ( bad experience with JD Gator belt drive). These machines are very expensive they shouldn't rattle like an old buggy.

    So check your bushing on your door Hinges thats the first thing or your rubber stoppers by the latch are turned out too far and doors aren’t meant to lean on! I have a deluxe 2022 I bought in April and I have none of those problems course there little mine noot things only problem I have is the stock battery doesn’t like cold weather I start mine it has 12.7 bolts I turn the key and start it it drops to 9.7 bolts new battery it was also -15 degrees the other day when I cranked it over o and I had a nut come off on my swing arm not my fault dealers! Yes my bed rattled too but I ignore it after all I’m out having fun listing to the motor not noises it’s one thing in a electric golf cart but a motorized one I don’t care and the ratchet strap yeah that’s a dump sry there’s ways to make it stop doing that noise!

    How large and heavy of a tire can you run before the clutches in that transmission give you issues?

    • @MudPuppyOffroad
      @MudPuppyOffroad  ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends largely on the terrain you ride and the year make and model gearing changes and clutch changes happen pretty frequently with these things. On this 2022 Pioneer 1000 I think a light 32 is maxed out for the kind of riding I do. On a talon you can do a light 33 it's a little more powerful and no real diff lock
