On your old set up how did you let your front links move up and down fully? I've got the Injora high clearance links and a Injora 11kg servo and I tried replicating your old setup but it seems like the shocks won't extend all the way, I really wanna save this and hope not to buy another Chassis
I found the RC addiction 19 links were the links that allowed the front to drop the most. The problem is the linkage binds against the servo mount before the shocks fully extend
Thank you for posting this update the bronco is definitely coming along with all the mods you have done‼️definitely flexes way more love the articulation on the suspension 😎👍🏽
Hey just got a question for the Trx4m because the front doesn’t wanna go down all the way even without shocks it doesn’t wanna go down. I’m very new to the hobby so
The front upper links are colliding with the servo mount. It's just how Traxxas designed it unfortunately. That setup will always limit your vertical axle drop.
🎉 Cool Content 🎉 Sir, You have a Nice Bronco!! I have the Blue-Grey one so far I've put brass plates, brass links, and brass bumper. I wanna tint the windows. I like your bumpers and your shock setup but I don't like that servo rub. That flex is crazy.
How would you minimize the ride height but also have alot of flex ? I love the build , but way too loose for me, it has almost no rebound, edit: I just noticed you don’t run springs
I trimmed off the fender flares and left the rest. I had to cut out the small plastic piece that holds the windows in, and the cross member in the front to hold on the wipers.
So, the shock you got, are they meant for the scx 1/24 because the link to the shocks brings me to the 58mm shocks, but it says they are for the 1/24 instead of the 1/18.
Yes they are. I retrofit them to the Traxxas. Not ideal, but they worked. I moved on to Losi mini B rear shocks all around and those are far superior to the scx24 shocks.
To keep the front end down for free couldnt you put a spare wheel on the bonnet/hood of the truck? the same wheel as the spare on the back then just play around with placement untill you get the balance right
Thanks for posting all of the cool things you’ve done! Towards the end you mentioned wanting to increase front weight. One thing I saw someone do with those wheels was replace the middle ring section on the back wheels with aluminum rather than brass to increase the front/rear bias.
You shouldn’t have to with beadlock wheels. If installed correctly the tires shouldnt come off. Stock tires and wheels are different. Those things slid off all over the place! Big part of why I upgraded wheels and tires so quickly
@@CapeCrawlers haha thanks for responding. When I bought them they came with the rims and tires on already thinking I had to just screw it in. Then I realized I had to take the whole thing off . Worked out for me and love em

To mod the suspension order the furitek frame rails. It is wider and that will clear the servo.
Kind regards Jeremy
I’m going to order one tomorrow I think! It looks great.
Where can I get the rear Bumper from? I know you said Joe's RC but have a username, or have a way where I can get one from??
Here is his Etsy store: www.etsy.com/shop/JoRcs?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=1378162028
Did you use stock Traxxas low gear plastic set or did you use steel ones from injora?
Traxxas at first and eventually switched to Injora steel
I wonder if there is a way to put a bow in the chassis on each side of the servo to give it 1/8 or so of an inch of extra clearance at the servo
I bet you could. In subsequent videos I found out how to get it to slide under the chassis and achieve some gnarly articulation.
How did you cut the inner fender flairs?
I trimmed off the fender flares and left the rest. I had to cut out the small plastic piece that holds the windows in, and the cross member in the front to hold on the wipers.
So, the shock you got, are they meant for the scx 1/24 because the link to the shocks brings me to the 58mm shocks, but it says they are for the 1/24 instead of the 1/18.

I’ve seen someone do that with a magnet on the inside of the spare and the underside of the hood. He would just toss the spare on the hood for climbs!
Nice build mate what are are those tires like compared to little guy racing swamp kings
Have you put spacers on the injora high clearance links?
I did not use the spacers
Thanks for posting all of the cool things you’ve done! Towards the end you mentioned wanting to increase front weight. One thing I saw someone do with those wheels was replace the middle ring section on the back wheels with aluminum rather than brass to increase the front/rear bias.
Great idea! I’ve got extra Injora wheels I wonder if those rings will fit. I’ll give that a try!
Coming for a 1/10 perspective I never add weight to the rear just more weight to drag up the climb
Hey I love your builds you you’ve got some good talent I’m just curious if I have the trx4m lift kit will that work with these shocks
Yes! I’ve been waiting for this video
I hope it was worth the wait!
Do your shocks sit bottomed out?
If you drill out the pivot balls to fit Traxxas shock bolt would that be better than removing the balls entirely?
That's a great idea, and certainly a better option than running no pivot hardware! I may have to try that.
Have you tried using a different axle housing with a horizontal servo, like an FXC24 or SCX24? Not sure if they are wide enough though.
I have not. I like the Traxxas setup, so I am hoping someone will develop a modification to maintain the stock axles but flip the servo
Check out Etsy there is a guy that sells a bumper delete kit to help with approach angle. Also saw a 3D printed interior with a driver hahaha.

They’re the 58mm shocks but I think they’re out of stock. I don’t see them online anymore
