    I have the exact same Furnace in my RV and never knew how to turn it on since the time (4 years) I bought it, and did not bother to try because I only used it in the Summer.
    After watching your detailed instructions I thought of giving it a shot and voila` the blower started, after turning the Thermostat switch to the ON position and increasing the Temperature.
    The fan is making a funny noise but I guess that must be because it was never started. Will figure that out momentarily.
    THANK YOU so much for taking the time to show us how this is done.
    Be well and stay safe!

    Great video , appreciate the sharing. My ignitor will not start the pilot light. Is there a way I could light the pilot with a long wood match or something. The fan clicks on and runs, but the pilot just wont light. The heater looks a lot like the one in this video. Appreciate any advice , thank you.

      I don't think there is any way of lighting other then using the ignitor. Make sure you are plugged into 110v or your battery power is charged up and producing 12volts otherwise it will not light. The fan it has to be blowing at the correct speed before it will ignite. Also try blowing out the furnace from the exhaust port with compressed air if its dirty inside the fan may not get up to speed.. If still nothing you may need to check for air in the propane line, a new igniter or thermal coupler, Cheers!

    I'm trying to see if it is possible to install this same furnace into my small coleman roanake Cd Tent trailer.
    I pulled a perfectly good working furnace out lf a rotton starcraft tent trailer.

    Would you just so happen to know where one would be able to find parts, such as the hard line right above that pilot knob? Mine is leaking at the fitting and it will not seal.

      Hi Steven, So if you can find the model or part number i would search on google or e-bay you could also check with an RV parts dealer locally if posable they may have a part or one similar. Your last option would be to take the part into a fabrication shop and see if they can duplicate it. Hope You Find A Solution! Cheers! :)

    How do you know if the pilot light is lit?

    • @Littlervrentals
      @Littlervrentals  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you put your hand on the burner you should feel a little heat after a few minutes, Or if you feel it blowing heat! If not check your propane tank, light a stove burner to get any bubbles out of the system, If still nothing you may have a bad thermocouple or a bad igniter... Let me know if you get it working! Cheers!

    What powers the furnace fan?

    • @Littlervrentals
      @Littlervrentals  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there! It's a blower fan powered by thermostat and 12volt power supply

    Is it the same for a duo therm?

    • @Littlervrentals
      @Littlervrentals  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure if your heater looks the same as the one in this video the procedure may work...

    I have that same furnace. I can not tell if the pilot is going where can I see if it is lit or not.

    • @Littlervrentals
      @Littlervrentals  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Some furnaces do have an eye hole to see the flame but yes it is difficult to know for sure the only way is to feel the heat coming out, once the pilot is lit it will stay lit and the blower will turn on and off as heat is required. the pilot should only go out when you turn the control valve back to off or shut off propane supply, Cheers! :)

      hi. i have this furnace it lights fine the way you show, but after the thermostat shuts it off, after a few minutes the pilot light shuts off by itself,and i have to re light it. any ideas on what i can try? Im gonna try a different regulator to see if thats the issue.

    • @Littlervrentals
      @Littlervrentals  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi David, Yes try a new regulator. Also test the lines for propane leaks, could also be a bad thermocouple. Cheers,

    May this be why mine is blowing cool air with nY

    • @Littlervrentals
      @Littlervrentals  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      If on battery power check that its producing 12volts, Try blowing compressed air in the exhaust port to clean out the blower, Other wise it's air in propane line, thermal coupler or last would be your ignitor, Cheers,
