Every property was special in its own sense and all were good value - Unlike some overpriced luxury renovated houses on other channels. You really spare us a lot of scrolling on the real estate sites 😅
@Isimud Thank you so much for your lovely comment. That’s really what I’m aiming for-solid finds without the inflated price tags. I’m glad these gems are saving you some endless scrolling too!😃
Thanks for the nice video Question The small house has a building area of 40 square meters and needs some repairs and is considered historical on an area of 4224 square meters in Cisternino and at a price of 50,000 US dollars - Is it owned by the state or privately owned first? Is it allowed to live in it? Is it possible to build a country house on the land? I am waiting for your answer and thank you very much
@loweharman8985 Thank you for your comment and for watching my video, I am glad you liked it. The house is privately owned and you can live in it, it does require some renovation though. I can't say if you can build another house on the land but usually you can add extension and covered patio to the existing house In Italy. The size of extension depends on the land size, bigger land means bigger extension. To build another house you would need to apply for approval from the local office. I have added links of the properties to the video description, feel free to reach directly to the estate agent, I am sure they will be able to advice further.
@@ExpatTheExplorer Thank you for the quick answer First, regarding the restoration of the old building, this is agreed upon and according to the requirements of the law in Italy Second, I repeat my question, is the land with an area of 4224 square meters included in the price of $50,000 Third, if possible, the email and phone number of the property owner or the real estate broker’s office so that I can contact him before traveling to Italy I repeat my sincere thanks to you
I feel that the second property, that is the property in Matina Franca,is a bargai. There again "What's the point of showing those properties, if you don't offer the link of the real estate agents selling them?"
The second one is my favourite too. It ticks all the boxes, it has garden, olive trees, neighbours near by, lots of space, moveable but still bit of a project and close to the town. I have added links of all shown properties to video description, feel free to reach directly to the agents if you like.
@googolmom Feel free to email me on proexpats@gmail.com if you have any question. If you want more details about particular property I put links to all properties in the video description, you can contact the agent directly by phone number or chat available in the listings.
@tobiass9347 Thank you for your comment. I do not sell properties, I am looking for one myself. I have added links to all shown properties to video description, you can reach directly to the real estate. Each listing has the name and contact for the agent. Good luck!
Most of these are not even worth 10k. They are basically inherited properties that nobody wants, or they need to be sold to split the profits. They all lack maintenance and proper care, so before thinking of renovation costs you'll need to fix anything that is broken, rotten or structurally unsafe or illegally built. That will put you in a nightmare with legal processes and building work. The shortage of skilled workers will also cause huge delays in progress. So unless you are a builder yourself, and you have someone you can trust 100% to do the legal paperwork, then I would walk away from these. If people that grew up there or are from there don't want to fix these up, then it should be ringing alarm bells from the start. They could be medium to long term projects for someone who has the time, money, language and legal knowledge to at least get to grips with it from the start.
@pedroamador0618 The point is to show what is available on the market: different locations, property style and price. The point of this video is not just to sell. If you wanted the links you could have just ask.
You are given the name of the town so you can look them up yourself. It is unfortunate that Italy doesn't have MLS, but I've been able to track down the property I was interested in fairly quickly.
@patriciamoore3318 Thanks for your comment. Just so you know, I don’t sell properties or get any cut from real estate. I’m actually looking for a place myself and just sharing what I find along the way. My channel is free and it’s all about helping others in the same boat, discovering affordable housing options abroad. Thanks for watching my video and being part of my journey. ❤️
@Nyenification I have added links to all shown properties to video description, you can reach directly to the real estate. Each listing has the name and phone number of the agent. Good luck!
Stay away from Puglia. My parents bought a home there and were robbed 3 times within the first year, They lost everything they owned to the thieves/workers who did the work on their home. It is a dump on the Adriatic sea and is freezing in the winter.
@lpaone01 I’m really sorry to hear about what happened to your parents - that sounds awful. Puglia can be beautiful, but it’s so important to find a place that feels safe and right for you. Thanks for sharing your story. I hope your parents are well.
Lovely video! The last property, the renovated trulli was my absolute favorite 😍

First house has a huge potential! I just don't know what is the +- cost of rénovation per square metre in Italie?
@gurgenmakaryan4428 Thank you! I've been told it is around €500 per square meter for a light renovation up to €1500 for a luxury finishing.
Thanks for the nice video

Would you be willing to share real estate agents contacts ?
@hadyzaky Sure, links to all properties are in the video description which will take you to the real estate website, there you will find the contacts.
How do we reach you about the properties ??

People. You think they put up the channel for free? Everyone is doing this because they get a cut fm the real estate people.

Stay away from an entire region because your parents had some problems in one particular area? Hmmmmm…. Bit of an overreaction
